we went every where around where we live which is a small town no one had any i went online and boom all kinds popped up and the one i choose was perfect for my needs since im on a fixed budget it is made of high quality and fits down in my sink perfect and best of all got delivered right to my front porch and super fast

I'm an older single man with few dishes so I don't bother with the dishwasher.  Needed an in-sink drainer for one side of this apartments dual kitchen sink. This is solid, has a;; the slots I need fits perfectly, and so far is holding up well. Not sure of longevity but at the price it'll pay for itself long before it breaks.  If it does break, I'll get another.

Simple, Effective, Inexpensive

The only issue I have with this product is that the inside basket is prone to collecting hard-water stains and doesn't drain the best.

Other than that, it's nice and sleek, and looks great in my kitchen! It's big enough to dry plenty of dishes for one person, maybe two. The basket is removable, and the stoppers on the bottom prevent it from sliding in the sink/on the counter, which is a huge plus.

I live in an apartment, the Mainstays Small Dish Drainer Rack is perfect for my use and my home.  I believe that in a single family home it could also be of use.  I've only had it a week?? The only concern is it durable for the long run.

The issue with my low overall rating is that this product starts rusting within the first month of use. I started drying it off after each use, but, just having the wet dishes in it causes the corrosion to start. 

For the price, it's worth buying and I do keep replacing them once the corrosion gets to a certain point.

Doesn't last

Within one month of purchase, the dish rack is showing rust stains from wet dishes and utensils do not stand erect in utensil holder, in order to drain properly.   I purchased this item because I needed this particular size to fit in double sink. I regret purchasing a metal drainer.

Item rusts after one month.

I have bought this item twice. 
The first time, it rusted right away. 
Ok, I thought it was defective. 
So, I bought it again! within 2 weeks, it rusted out again. This product is a complete waste of money. What a fraud!!! Why would you  make a product that you know is going to come in contact with water, and you won't make it rust resistant.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The design is fine; it's a basic dish drainer. I thought it would be a good replacement for my old one which had begun to rust after several years of use. I was wrong. After about 2 weeks of normal use it started rusting! Just constantly rusting. I wouldn't purchase it again.

Rusted After 2 Weeks

Awkward  to use and now, after less than 6 months of everyday use, it is RUSTY!  What?!  Thought it was stainless steel, but I guess it isn't.

I say it is awkward to use because of 2 things: the plastic silverware holder and the slanted spaces for the dishes.   The silverware falls over inside of the holder (which I've never had happen before with other dish drainers) because it is too long / wide. 

Also, if you have flat plates, you can get them to stand as they should, but because of the slanted slots it is difficult to get other shaped dishes to fit right.  I need to use a separate drain area for things like bowls.  It's just a poor design, in my opinion.

One more thing:  I prefer to have a drainboard beneath, but this didn't come with one, so I use towels under it.  I almost returned it after my first attempt at using it, and now I wish I had.

Sorry for the negative review, but I don't want others to be disappointed and waste their money.  I've used  dish drainers just about all of my life and never seen nor owned one that rusted!  It's too late to return it or get a refund.

RUSTED! And Poor Design

This Mainstays wire dish rack began RUSTING ***the very first week*** I used it! I'm really shocked at how quickly it happened. And it just kept getting worse. Now I have rust spots on most of my white Corelle dinner plates and dinner bowls and on the rim of my favorite glass! I had been using a simple wire plate rack along with a couple different glass holders the past few years but it was an inconvenient arrangement for large bowls and pans plus the holders didn't handle heavy glasses or mugs well, so I thought I'd return to a more traditional design. I like the overall shape of this but the material is garbage. (I never used the utensil holder because I have a better one that can sit outside the rack.) Both glass holders started rusting after a few months but I'm going back to the wire plate rack and maybe just a mat until I can find a suitable replacement for this piece of junk because after a few years there is ZERO RUST on the plate rack. Ironically, they look like they're made of the same thing, but obviously they are not. I'm going to try to get a refund, but either way it doesn't deserve any stars.
