My honest review is that this bed frame has a simple and elegant look. The light grey color perfectly matches my daughter's room decor. The old bed had a wooden spring that made noise whenever her friends sat and chatted 😅. Now, we have a mainstay platform bed frame with an iron spring that can hold up to 350 lbs, so there's no more embarrassment! It also features an adjustable headboard to accommodate different mattress sizes. I was able to give my daughter's room a makeover while staying within my budget. Thank you!

To be honest, we took the instructions out of the box to look at them prior to taking the bed frame to college, and then forgot them.  We actually assembled this without the instructions and went together without any issues!  The bed frame is sturdy and the pieces fit together both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound.  My daughter loves it and it looks nice!  Definitely recommend this product!  Thanks!

Exceeded Expectations!!!

only problem was I couldn't figure out how to put it together so if your not or never had a frame before I would make sure someone can do it or buy the install from them. but once together it's pretty heavy , very very sturdy doesn't wobble or anything and is very very pretty I didn't think it would be as nice because how the price is affordable. but boy is it it's almost to nice lol. but it also fits the bed size perfectly well for my bed anyways . it sets pretty hight once the mattress is on. thank you guys for fast delivery (same day) and the affordable price and great quality frame !!! much appreciated

I used to have big, chunky, over the top head boards and frames. As I’ve gotten older I realize I need less and this bed is exactly what I needed. The headboard is firm but if you push your head against it it’s not going to give you a headache. It’s just right (for me) and I think the color and the look is the headboard is attractive. Plain-but attractive. It’s sturdy. If you’re using the bed for activities I don’t know how well it holds up. If you’re just sleeping in it there is no squeaking, loose pieces or moving around. The only annoying thing is that the mattress moves off the frame at times, as there is no “lip” to catch it. It’s not all of the time but enough for me to mention it in this review.

The Mainstays Gray Upholstered Square Tufted Platform Bed looks much more expensive than it actually is. The gray fabric gives it a modern, clean look, and the tufted headboard adds a nice touch of style without being too flashy.

Assembly was straightforward. The instructions were clear, and all the parts were well organized. I especially love that no box spring is needed, which saves both money and hassle. The frame feels sturdy and supportive, and it doesn’t squeak or shift. It holds the mattress well and gives a nice, low-profile look that works great in smaller or modern spaces.

This is a great value for the price. If you’re looking for an affordable, stylish, and functional platform bed, this is definitely a solid choice!

An affordable, stylish platform bed!

Very difficult to assembly because the holes don’t line up properly but you can force it sometimes. The instructions are a cartoon which doesn’t help. Ratchet is a cheap toy tool. Funny how the girls reviewing this bed have never seen a ratchet before.  Sturdy once assembled but it’s a role of the dice if you’ll get one that was made correctly.

Poor factory manufacturing

Disappointed. I have purchased Mainstays in the past %26 expected better of this bedframe. I was disappointed that the legs were plastic %26 wasn't sure if they were cracked or were supposed to have a washer-disc type piece meeting the frame when screwed in. I spent a lot of time trying to find a headboard that I liked %26 mistakenly ordered this with a metal frame %26 metal slats when meant to order the wooden frame %26 velcroed wooden slats. Also, the mattress doesn't have any edge to help keep it in place %26 the metal slats are not comfortable to sleep on. Not keeping this. I'm already searching for better.

Do you love furniture created by crackheads? This is the bed frame for you! Nothing fits properly, holes don't line up, can't fit the headboard on both sides at once. Truly terrible.

Instruction manuals were both in Spanish and there were 8 screws mentioned  but not included.  I was unable to locate ANT manual online anywhere. Too much of a waste d time.

I put the frame together and the bars under the mattress don’t slide in correctly so one side of the mattress goes in because the bars won’t stay in place or slide in to lock into place
