This is my favorite ramen. It's the only kind I buy now!  

Love how the noodles are a bit more firm/chewy than most brands (I find a lot of packaged ramen noodles too mushy for my taste.) The packets are a bit smaller than, say, Mr. Noodles, which I like, since it keeps the portion size in check. The chili seasoning is a separate packet, which makes it great to customize your spice level.  They're great plain, but I also love to add a cheese slice, some green onion, and a soft boiled egg. 

Also worth mentioning, the chicken, beef, veggie, and duck flavours are unintentionally vegan, for those of you who don't do any animal products. (Clearly I'm ovo-lacto vegetarian, but I like to share that info when I find it!)

Love these noodles!

This is my favourite brand of instant noodles.   Even though I need to use 2 packages per meal, it's a great price.

Mama- Oriental Style Instant Noodles-Chicken

I've been eating these like chips since the 90s, and I've never once actually cooked them. I love these so much, and its great you can decide how much flavor you want and if or not you want them spicy. I crunch the noodles up a bit, add 1/2 of the chicken seasoning, 1/6 of the chili powder (and It's still always burns my mouth as it is right now, hahaha, and I shake it up and they're amazing. Sometimes I put less or just eat them plain too. I throw out the packet of, uhm, lard or some sort of fat I'm guessing? We always joked in elementary school that it would give you worms. Aaaand now my mouth is on fire so I'm going to open a new one and eat some plain noodles and drink some water, lmao

Tastiest snack ever

first time trying this, have had 'Mr noodles' lots of times but loved the taste of the soup way better, less waste, and better flavor, oh this is a keeper! I don't like things 'spicy hot' at all so I didn't put in the 'chili'. Perfect, almost a teriyaki kind of flavor to the broth, the garlicky paste was awesome too, melted right in. Hubby says he likes it better than any noodles we've tried yet, and sure can't beat the price!! totally awesome!!

Great Features!

These Mama soups taste good and have a price that can't be beat.  They conveniently include 3 separate flavouring packets, including 1 with the spicy powder so you can control your level of heat.  I strongly advise to add this gradually and taste as you go... with the full packet, it gets very spicy!

Overall, I prefer the shrimp flavour of the same brand for having a better all around flavour, but the chicken is a nice alternate from time to time.  The picture of the rubbery-looking chicken drumstick on the packaging makes it look pretty terrible, but I'd recommend it for purchase!
