Great as a quick meal or snack. Made it for lunch with a salad and ready to eat in a few minutes.
Taste was great with just a little spice flavor.
Would be great to serve to both adults and. Children.
Will buy again to keep in freezer for future use.
Would also be great to bring to work  to microwave and have lunch.

Quick and Easy

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Today I taste tested the pizza pocket deluxe. The product comes with pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms. When I went to eat this product I put it in my air fryer for about 10 - 12 minutes on 350 and it came out nice and hot . The first thing I tasted was the sweet peppers I'm a big sweet peppers fan so it already started off strong then in my second bite I got it all the and it was amazing  I love deluxe pizza's and this product tasted just like one. The only draw back from this was the sause it was a little to tangy for me but in all it was quick to make and yummy to eat so I was very happy with it.

For starters - WOW! 

I haven't had these since I was a teenager (many years ago), the taste is even better than I remember! 

The dough is a perfect amount and so light and not chewy or greasy, which is important to me. The flavor is wonderful. The ingredients are in nice sized pieces, meaning no large chunks falling out while eating. 

The directions for cooking were easy to read and were on par. We used the microwave method, but I'd like to try them next time in a different way (air fryer, oven, etc) as I think they'd be even better. 

The product serving size is great, 2 easily feed an adult - 1 for the smaller kids (or lighter eaters). Conveniently packaged in groups of 2 as well!

These would be great for on the go, after-school snacks, a quick meal added with some salad - so many ways these could be consumed! 

All in all, I am impressed and will definitely be purchasing these again. I am sold! We will be switching from our usual brand to these!

I found a new family favorite!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I have recently tried the McCain Deluxe Pizza Pockets and they're really yummy, fast and easy to make. My kids really enjoy them as a snack and I will buy more in the near future just to keep on hand. It was not as cheesy as I expected though, you have to find which time works best with your microwave, so you don't overcook or undercook it.

My review of McCain deluxe Pizza Pockets

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. This is the first time I tried thr McCain Deluxe Pizza Pockets. Have tried similar products from other brands and their taste are very similar. Major difference is in the crust. I like this crust from McCain and it tastes like home made crust. Other ones I have tried are more like fluff pastry. As for the stuffing, this is the deluxe flavour, can taste the Mushroom, peppers and pepperoni. Would appreciate if there are more pepperoni in it.

Quick late night snack

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. This product is the McCain deluxe pizza pockets! The first thing that caught my eye about this product was that it had pepperoni, mushrooms, and peppers inside! This makes them much more interesting in my opinion. After heating them up in the microwave, I was pleasantly surprised by the pizza smell it gave off.  

TASTE:
I loved the dough, it was perfectly soft, slightly sweet, and held the filling well. The filling was good, but I wish I tasted more of the peppers and mushrooms. I couldn't make them out at all. It had a good amount of cheese, and the portion size was perfect for a snack. 

VERDICT: 
I do recommend this product since I did enjoy it and would buy it again. However, I don't think it tastes all that different from a normal pizza pocket, it is mostly just a bit chunkier inside. Still, this may be a good thing for parents who are trying to increase their kids consumption of vegetables! I'm sure kids would eat these up in a flash :)

Tasty but not feeling the "deluxe" part

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. We opted to try the McCain Pizza pockets at lunch, and we did not feel up to warming the oven, so we used our air fryer at the same temp recommended on the box, but for 1/2 the time requested and they were great! Crispy outer "pocket" and the inside was hot, cheesy and very tasty! Highly recommend trying the air fryer to speed up the cooking process, it worked fantastic!

Crispy & Yummy Lunch Option

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. It is the deluxe flavour pizza pocket with pepperoni, peppers and mushrooms. It has no artificial flavours or preservatives. It is baked not fried.

I tried this after coming home hungry from grocery shopping. I shared it with my family and we ate the whole box. I really enjoyed it. 

One thing that I found was that it didn't have a whole lot of ingredients in it like in the photo.  

For example, one of them only had one piece of pepperoni and one small piece of green pepper. Some had a few more pepperonis and a few pieces of green pepper. We tasted a little bit of mushroom but we couldn't see it.

I enjoyed it because it was filled with sauce and was quite cheesy. The sauce and seasoning are very delicious. But there were so few ingredients in it that I thought at first that a few of them were just plain cheese and sauce.

There was a little bit of pepperoni and it was spicy. I like spicy things but it would be too spicy for someone who doesn't enjoy spicy things.

I enjoyed the pastry part of it; it was not tough at all. I also liked the ingredients. The ingredients  were whole food ingredients. It makes me feel better about eating it and also giving it to my family.

I would recommend this to others. However, the picture is not at all what we got. Ours mainly looked like red sauce inside.

Delicious sauce but not enough ingredients

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. The deluxe pizza pockets from McCain consists of an outer dough with a pizza filled inside with toppings of pepperoni, bell peppers, and mushrooms. When trying this item, I chose to cook the frozen product in the microwave as per the instructions on the back of the box. It was very simple to follow the instructions and prepare the pizza pocket to eat. I did enjoy this pizza pocket while trying it but the only note I had was it had a strong tomato sauce flavour which seemed to overpower the toppings inside. I would recommend this product to those who enjoy pizza items but just keep in mind that there is a strong tomato flavour!
