I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Hi, I just tried the McCain 5Minute shoestring French fries. I made mine in my air fryer. So you do have to adjust the time and temperature. 

I did have to make 2 batches, the first batch was a little to crispy for my liking. The second batch was perfect. They came out crispy and golden colour.  It did say on the package with sea salt but I couldn't taste it.  I put my own salt in anyways.  I do recommend these if you are a fry eater like me.  

I prefer the shoestring but they do have other sizes.

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I just tried the McCain Superfries® 5 Minute Shoestring Fries (1.5kg bag) and they are really good! This product is quick to prepare, crispy, and tasty. 

Firstly, these fries were so quick and easy to prepare. I just set the oven to 450 degrees and baked them for 5-7 minutes (I baked them for 7 minutes because I like crispy fries!). This is perfect for when I am looking for a side dish for my meal but don't have too much time! 

They came out of the oven golden brown and crispy. These fries are thin and crispy, similar to some restaurant-style fries. I am trying to save money by not eating out at restaurants as much, so being able to make these fries at home are perfect for that! 

I also added some extra salt and pepper to these fries to my taste, but they are seasoned with sea salt already.

Overall, I would recommend these fries to people who like thin/crispy fries, those who want fries that are fast-cooking, and those who might be trying to eat out less. You should note that the cooking instructions recommend that these fries do not be cooked in a toaster oven.

Delicious thin and crispy fries!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I bought the McCain Shoestring Frozen French Fries . Our family loves eating french fries but we find many others are too high in carbs. Not with McCain shoestring, it is a perfect amount of carbs so my son can eat fries every single day if he wanted to. I have done them in the oven and I have done them in my air fryer. My preference is doing them for the time in the air fryer and they come out extra crispy. My son he loves them either way because he just loves eating french fries.  We will keep buying these shoestring fries and keep making poutines out of them and eating them with ketchup.

Delicious Product!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was very happy to try the large bag of McCain's Superfries 5 Minute Shoestring Fries, as we are a family of 6, so it was a perfect size to satisfy all of us, including my teenage boys. Although the fries were a bit drier than homemade fries from scratch, I have to say that the ease of being able to just pop these in the oven and have fries done in 7 minutes is definitely worth it, especially on days when you don't have a lot of time. I also like the fact that these specific shoestring fries are very thinly cut, just how I like them.

I was skeptical at first that these wouldn't cook evenly in only 5 minutes but I was wrong. They cooked perfectly! 
I'm a mom of a 2 and 1 year old so getting food on the table quickly and easily is really important to me. 
These fries were a big hit for me and my toddler. They were easy to make and eat. And actually taste good without any ketchup or salt. They weren't dry and didn't burn or get too crispy in those 5 minutes. 
I would definitely recommend the shoestring fries!

Skeptical at first.. but these were a big hit

I will start this by saying I really like shoestring fries and the fact that they are "5 minute shoestring fries" is even better! I find they get crisper than other types which is what I love.  These fries were just that!  The took slightly longer that 5 mins to get to my desired crispness, but overall a quick tasty side dish.

Great crispy fries

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. McCain super fries shoestring 5 min fries id a great quick addition to any meal! It takes longer for your oven to preheat then to actually cook the product! These are going to be added to our quick meal days, or our French fry meals! They were easy to make and had options of how to make them crispy if that's how you prefer them! This product is excellent for families on a time crunch!
