This Grosche milano stovetop espresso maker astounds me in quality, aesthetic, and functionality. I got the 6 cup version and while the actual maker looks tiny, it is indeed meant to make a couple shots of espresso. It usually takes about 8-10 minutes on medium heat before I feel like my espresso is good to go. The wooden parts were designed as such to prevent accidental burns. The only thing is some minor spillage when pouring but this can be easily remedied by pushing on the wooden top. Clean up is very quick; a simple was is all it takes and ready again for the next day's brewing.

Looks beautiful and truly functional

I had originally purchased this for my induction oven thinking that induction and electric or the same. I originally almost returned to the pot but went scouring online to see if there's a way to get it to work on my induction oven. If you put it on top of the cast iron pan on your induction stovetop it still works perfectly! I was very excited I figured out a way to make it work! It was actually a very simple fix.

I was supposed to go to Italy in May this past year. I got really into Italian culture and had really been looking forward to trying espressos and cappuccinos. My trip was obviously canceled due to the Coronavirus and I have since been just trying to learn more about Italian culture since our trip got pushed back a year. This did not disappoint! Very very good. I can't speak to how it compares to actual Italian espresso, but if it's anything like this it's delicious!!

Just Delightful. And You CAN Make Induction Work!

If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I love espresso drinks from coffee shops, I used to drink just regular coffee but once my liking evolved, I just didn't like the regular coffee anymore, I was looking for a different style of coffee so I purchased this stovetop. t makes delicious coffee. Put some full city roast in their and fire it up and what comes out is espresso. From my readings I've gathered that its not actually espresso, as the Moka pot doesn't make enough pressure for it to be real espresso. But its playing the part convincingly, I can't tell the difference between what comes out of this and a shot of espresso. Its paid for itself a dozen times over at this point. Absolutely one of the best purchases I've ever made. I couldn't be happier. If you are on the fence, buy it, I am sure you won't regret it!

Awesome little espresso maker.

We are a coffee family...well, I am one of main contributors. I have always wanted a percolator and my wife finally said I could pull the trigger. This one has a solid, sturdy base that holds well to heat. I have used it 6 times and I cannot tell it has been used on the bottom where it touches the heat element. It is easy to use and makes great espresso (sure, it does depend on the coffee too). This maker is solid and the handle is not hot and can be held after being over the stove top. A !

Great espresso maker!

I've been meaning to get an espresso/coffee maker (for when we go camping) but really was not trying to get a big contraption-glad to have run into this little gem. It is fairly easy to put together. I  watched a youtube how-to video and was able to follow very easily. I like the sturdiness of design and I do recommend you handle this with a pot holder or a dish rag because it will get hot. I experimented a bit with different grinds of coffee and I found the one that works for me. Key is to use it from low to med heat. I love hearing the hissing sound letting me know coffee is done. The best part is that the handle does NOT get hot. I always let the freshly brewed coffee sit for at least 5 minutes. With the pot holder, I slightly untwist the bottom so it can cool down- the coffee grounds stay compressed in the funnel part so they are easy to dump out and clean. Love that I can just wash this in a dish pan with light soapy water, dry it off and get it ready for the next batch. A very big plus is that it is small enough to put in a cabinet without cords and cables. There are 3 parts to this. Coffee tastes great and it gives me that morning or afternoon boost that I need. I grew up drinking stronger coffee and this is what I get from this espresso maker. I got the 6 cup version so it does what I need it to do.

Love the Old School Feel

I bought 6 cup espresso maker. Makes delicious espresso, very easy to use even beginner can do perfect espresso with it. Worth the money. One of the best kitchen tool I have had in these days. Just follow the instructions you will make delicious espresso.
Fill the reservoir with cold water ( don't use hot or warm water) and put the filter in and add ground coffee and screw on the upper half ( I call it coffee collector), and put it on the stove on low to medium flame. Just give it sometime. Don't do it on high flame and medium ground coffee will make a best espresso.

Best espresso maker

I grew up in Italy and love this type of coffee machine. This is by far the best one I've used yet. It's fashionable yet functional.  The wooden handle is perfect for not getting too hot. It's solid and great quality. So happy I bought it.

Great quality and I love the cool handle

I am happy I got this. This is good for 2 cups of espresso and very well made. Handles are sturdy and doesn't get hot when I boil on my stove. Washing them is pretty easy too, no chipping.

This is a very poorly designed espresso maker.  When the top is full of espresso it will easily tip over because it's very top heavy.  The product is dangerous and may lead to burns from boiling coffee spilling over.  Do not buy this if you have children or pets around or a slightly unsteady hand.
