Overall, It is a great design. It is a little difficult to assemble. The screws don't  go into the long bars that go across the front and back at the place where they go together in the middle with two small screws on each connection side to make the two long bars, that connects to the arms. The screws holes are fine everywhere else (I believe paint is in the little holes). Once I used a tap and cleaned the holes out, The screws worked fine. There are no other serious problems anywhere else. It would also be advised to read thru all the instructions before beginning assembly. There are two bars each that go across the back and seat that you can easily put on incorrectly. The instructions don't clearly show this. A little further in the instructions, it is referenced.

I expected a stronger frame, but I guess it was suitable for the price I paid for it. It should work out fairly well ,it will be used as an extra bed for company.

It came without a mattress . They didn't warm me that would happen . They advertised a mattress with the futon on the picture . It didn't say My futon would come without the mattress .

Where is my mattress ?

Took forever to put together as I didn't have right tools

It's barely been in use and is already failing. Assembly wasn't bad but it doesn't hold up very well.

I remember when they used to sell the entire futon with the mattress together. Now, Walmart is just stealing from the consumer when it comes to this. I'd rather go to a furniture store and purchase the entire thing!!!

Do Not PurchaseThis Item!

It shows with the black pillow topper and comes with just the futon bed part. Don't pertray the picture like it the whole set. Very false leading!

I bought this frame to replace my old one that had broken hinges and I am very disappointed.  The seat and back parts are 4 pieces, and must be screwed together.  Overall the metal is very thin and doesn't seem strong enough to hold much weight. The whole thing is very lightweight. I ended up only using the new hinges on my old frame pieces, and so far they seem pretty strong.  If you need new hinges then this is an expensive fix, but if you need a sturdy frame this is not the one.

The hinges are the only good part of this frame.

Do not waste your money! We can't even assemble this because the screws do not fit into the holes! Extremely frustrating because how do we even return something so heavy and already partially assembled?

Do not buy this!
