This is an easy to make side dish.  The rice cooks fast, though I find it takes a little longer than “5 minutes”.  I also find that you need to use slightly more water than the 1:1 ratio that it calls for, otherwise the bottom of the rice tends to burn.  The rice tastes great and seems to be very high quality.  The price is affordable, making the 1.4 kg size a much better purchase compared to the smaller box.

[Employee of walmartcanada] I'm very disappointed with this rice. I purchased it thinking it was premium-quality Basmati, but it is not. The grains do not have the aroma or quality of real Basmati rice. After cooking, the rice had almost no taste at all and was not enjoyable to eat. Overall, the quality is very poor and does not match the description. I would not recommend this product.
