I've only had it down for a week, but so far it's great. It keeps our area rug, which is over thick carpeting, in place with no sliding like our other one did. I can see when placed over a hard floor surface that it would give additional comfort as it's cushioned.

This has made my daily life so much easier. We put it down about 2 weeks ago and have not had to readjust furniture & rug since. It far surpasses the other brand that I had purchased for another area rug. Very few underpads are for carpet-on-carpet. Mohawk brand is different & superior to other brands

A must have for carpet-on-carpet application

when I opened the rug pad; I unrolled it to "air-it out"; packing has an odor; but not bad-I let it air for an hour or so; then placed my new rug over the pad. It measured out perfectly and adds some cushion and fulless to the area rug. Good choice and glad you had it at the "right price".

I have new hardwood floors and needed to purchase rug pads. I love these pads because they are thicker than most and provide a little cushion under the rug. Excellent value! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality rug pad with a bit of cushion.

Excellent rug pads!

Got this for my living room rug against vinyl flooring at my apartment. I had some some research and read a ton of reviews about which rug mat would be best for both floor protection and give some cushion when stepping. This rug pad definitely checks both categories! Also good to know that I can just flip it over if I want to use it on carpet flooring. I recently got a roomba as well and it has no problem getting over about 1/2 inch thick pad/ rug combo. Definitely recommend this product!

Versatile, good buy

After researching MANY different types of rug pads online, I'm really glad that I decided on this one! I liked the fact that this one offered both a non-abrasive, non-slip surface to accommodate my new hard wood flooring but also provide extra padding for comfort. I only received this pad today so I can't attest to how it will hold up long term. It does offer non-slip and padding as was advertised. So far so good.

The quality of the rug pad was as expected - I can tell it will protect my rug and my floor. It has a grip so that the rug won't slip. It was delivered ahead of schedule and in excellent condition. I would recommend it. My rug manufacturer recommended a rug pad like this and I was very pleased to find it at Walmart.

We shopped around for this particular item. Walmart priced it for much less and offered free shipping to the house. Mohawk made it to be trimmed because of size variations in area rugs. While it is not difficult to trim with scissors, I found it even easier with a straight edge and utility knife. The sticky or down side really grabs the floor, so no movement once you have it in place. Turned an inexpensive area rug into something really nice. So nice, we immediately ordered a second pad for another rug.

Walmart offered this pad at the very best price!

I bought this product for 2 by 8 runner rugs to stick them to tile floors. The product does not stick to the rug side enough to work. The runner rugs still slide all around the room. I have bought two-sided tape to stick the tops of the pads to the runner rugs. Not Happy with them.

Not happy.

The quality for the price was great but I would never use this. I purchased the pad for an area rug over carpet. It is supposed to go rough side down on the carpeting. The material was rougher than a brillo pad and would have caused serious abrasion to the carpet fibers. I returned it. Other similar products are made with much less abrasive material.
