Cushy Double-Sided Rug pad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great rug pad for hardwood or tile floors. It adds just enough padding to not feel "squishy" but helps reduce impact and adds some insulation between the rug and floor. The textured side grips my hardwood floors well and the "soft" side holds onto my rugs well. No slippage. I did need to cut to fit my rug, but that was expected.

Great Grip and Padding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this Mohawk Home - Dual Surface Rug Pad. I have a large rug but it is on carpet and has had issues with slipping and developing wrinkles that are difficult to work out. This rug pad has solved these problems for me. It grips enough to keep the rug in place and provides it with support which has stopped the wrinkling.
The pad itself is really good quality. The materials are heavy and high quality but the overall weight is light enough to work with so you can adjust the placement without a lot of trouble. It is flexible and has plenty of body to it.
This pad is such good quality and is working so well that I will be buying another one for a rug I have in another room.

Exactly what I've needed

They bring great aesthetic appeal to my home but often slide out of place, are uncomfortable to stand on and cause scratches to the underlying floor. This dual surface rug pad by Mohawk Homes helps eliminate all those problems. You can cut it to fit any size rug perfectly and the dual surface design is good for both hard and soft surfaces. The ¼" padding, made with recycled fibers, provides phenomenal cushioning for you feet and protects the pile from being crushed by your furniture. My favorite aspect of this rug pad is the rubber side of the pad, which helps keep the rugs in place and prevents any scratches to my hardwood floors. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with area rugs in their home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My significant other wanted to put a new rug down under our bed. Now we have a pad for it when we do finally get one. It is just what we needed before getting the rug. It will fit perfectly. The thickness is perfect. Not to thick or too thin, making the quality very satisfying. We did try to cut it slightly and it will just fine into any shape as it is not that difficult to accomplish with the way this rug is made. It feels luxurious to me. The rug will be sitting on it with great distinction. It matters to me that the floor is covered this way, and it seems to have done the trick to make me happy as well as my partner. The color is fine as it will be covered up anyways, so it doesn't need to be fancy, of course.

Rug-ged Appeal and Worthy Of Praise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time owning a rug pad, but it's a must from now on!  I absolutely love that this rug pad works on floors with or without carpet and the instructions were super easy.  We were able to easily cut any excess material to fit our rug perfectly.  We received it to go with our Cheetah Spots rug, which is the 8' x 10' size and the rug pad fit it perfectly with only about an inch of excess.  Ever since we laid then rug down with the rug pad underneath, the rug has not moved at all.  Since I use the rug in my home office, I'm able to roll my desk chair along the rug even at the edge and it doesn't lift at all.  You definitely NEED a Mohawk Home rug pad if you're on the fence about it!

Trust Me, You NEED This Rug Pad!

By adding the pad underneath it stays in place. Simple to just cut to fit the pad and boom no sliding. Now I don't have to worry about anyone falling or tripping on the rug. Thank you

Just what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dual surface rug pad by  Mohawk works great for our rug. The one side makes sure the rug doesn't slip. And the other side makes sure the rug stays put on the floor. This  is a great tool for our home as I'm losing my vision, and it's important everything stays put in it's place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this yesterday and immediately put it under my area rug in my spare bedroom. The 1/4th pad is sufficient but not very padded under the rug. I was using a rug pad gripper previously. I'm happy I tried it and like I mentioned is sufficient. I will try a 1/2 inch pad next time.

Not very padded

I bought a few of these rug pads and threw them in the garbage--they are truly awful. I contacted Mohawk and did not hear back so Mohawk obviously does not care about consumer feedback or responding when their products don't work as advertised.  I can't recommend these at all.
