[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monarch Hill Poppy Kids' White Bookcase can be used in multiple ways. It can be used to store books, smaller articles etc. This case has shelves whose height can be altered easily. Comes with an easily understandable user manual. The bottom door can be fitted with any of the 2 handles provided making it versatile. Very easy to assemble and very compact book case. A great asset to have for kids.

Monarch Hill Poppy Kids' White Bookcase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Monarch Hill Poppy Kids' White Bookcase actually for myself and my kids to use. We needed a bookshelf and wanted one that was nice and sleek yet fashionable. This one definitely has appeal with its white color and sleek look and design. 
When I got everything out of the box it took me a few to fin directions between some of the boards. The screws and pieces were all in a couple bags and not organized. At one point, I had to count the silver and black screws to find out which ones were which since they looked so closely alike and the directions did not state the color as being black or silver. The color of the screws being mentioned would have been more helpful. Also one of the springs inside the top roller piece for the cupboards was popped out of its spot. Luckily using my fingernail to catch it popped it back in. Other than that it was pretty easy to set up and directions were pretty clear. The shelf was put up by myself, working slow I'm about a half hour. And I love how it looks. I can adjust the height of the shelving to fit my books or need for use of the shelves. I placed them as it showed in the directions and it gave me enough space for my books. I love this shelf. Very pretty and clean. My books look great on it. It would look nice in any room and it came with 2 sets of knobs for the slide cupboards I used the more heavy duty gold knobs and li e their funky shape. It gives it more character. 
I did get to try this for free through the Spark review program but the opinions here are based on my own experiences.

Beautiful shelf, pretty easy setup, feels sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the style and ease of assembly for this book case. I'm actually using as both a bookcase and shelves for my kids toys. My complaint is that a few weeks after assembly I bumped into it a the corner piece started falling off. The small screws were not long enough to maintain a tight grip and and I had to drill new holes to reattach it, I guess that's the downfall of particle board.

Nice in theory, not well constructed

The paint job or whatever coating they use is horrible. It chips so easily and rubs off easily. Very disappointing for how expensive this furniture is. Additionally I was not able to add the cute sliding doors at the bottom as they were not cut correctly and the hardware will not fit. Upsetting for how much I spent on this set

It's alright

What a nightmare.  Particle board crumbling apart with a touch.  Trim pieces falling right off the screws.  This thing looks and feels like it will come to pieces with a light breeze, much less daily use from literal children.  Probably a safety hazard and definitely a waste of money.
