I have been wearing Muck boots for many years. I have the regular chore boots but they get a bit hot in warmer weather. The cool boot is much more comfortable in hot weather and the boots don't give up any quality compared to the original chore boots

These are perfect for my high heat body I can wear these in winter and not get sweaty feet. Great fit stay on in the muck of job sites and support ankles great.

Perfect boot for work in the yard AND around the house.  Currently cleaning out a 3 story barn we bought and they've been durable & comfortable for my husband.  Plus he looks hot af in them

Great durable boot

I had no idea the "cool" boot existed until I went on-line.  I had check a local retailer for chore boots but size selection was poor.  I am leary about purchasing things like boots on-line as sizing can be an issue for product to product.  I lucked out with these boots as they do fit true to size (at least for me).  So far they have been very comfortable to wear while doing outdoor work on our acerage during warm weather.

Comfortable boot

Got these specific boots to replace a pair of BOGS that had worn out. They're used in hot, humid conditions. After using for the past week, I really like them - waterproof, not too heavy, flexible, thin upper, comfortable under foot, sizing true to size. The only drawback would be the price, but seems to be money well spent. You won't regret the investment. Also, pair it with a pair of wool socks to keep your feet happy!

Satisfied customer

These boots did not meet my expectations. While they may work well for others, I found them disappointing for a few key reasons, and I'd like  to share my concerns here. 

First, weight is a crucial factor for me when selecting boots. I typically choose lightweight models—my usual pair is listed at 2 pounds but weighs closer to 3. I opted for this slightly heavier model, advertised at 2.5 pounds, but they actually weigh 4.6 pounds, which is significantly more than expected.

Second, the sizing appears to be inconsistent. In the attached photo, both boots are labeled EU size 42, yet there's a noticeable difference between them.

I've been a loyal Muck Boot customer and would like to continue being one, but this experience has shaken my confidence in the brand.

Not what I expected

I'm an overweight woman at 5' 5" and my husband is an average weight man at 6' 5".

I say this because the calf diameter for me on this height boot is hit or miss with Muck. I have arctic Muck's that are fine, but this one, in a men's size 8, is just a bit too tight and it makes the boots incredibly uncomfortable. I also find that when I bend my foot, because the calf end sticks, it makes the back of the harder rubber at the bottom dig into my Achilles. I need this height boot for working concrete and other muddy chores I deal with on my house construction site and my arctic boots are just too warm!

My husband loves his. Of course, at his height, the top of the boot just touches below his calf muscle. My boots are right over the biggest part of the muscle.

Muck makes great boots. I just wish there were an option to get wider calf openings along with deciding the shoe size.

5 stars for husband's boots. 2 stars for me. Average 3 stars.

Great boot depending on your height and weight

My wife and I own 4 pairs of muckboots between us.  3 out of 4 leaked water less than a year after purchase.  And this is a very expensive boot.

Leaks water

I have an old pair of muck boots that I have worn for many years. I checked the size. In the old boots it says US13. So I ordered 2 pairs of new muck boots size 13. When I received them I was shocked. One pair was ridiculously small--no way could I get my foot in them. The other pair was too small also but close enough to be explained as a change of sizing standards. I sent them back for a refund. I will go try on boots in a store in the future.
