Great fry pan The handles on the side are great easy to handle. I seasoned it the length of time that they said pay attention to that it will work good. It says it season, but you should still season it more. This will last forever and the two handles on each side, make a very easy to handle and I'm 76 years old..  just remember, wash dry, dry, good and then seasoning it with oil afterwards

This right here will do some serious cooking. Did some sesame steak, and toasted some garlic bread with cheese another day. Lovely just season with oil after hand washing and thoroughly wash cloth drying. I season with olive oil.  Simply beautiful. Jesus loves you and your soul is priceless!

For serious cooks!

Arrived on time, ready to use after quick rinse and light touch-up of oil ~ was dusty from sitting on shelving. 
Heat evenly spread, heated quickly... Even though my stove top isn't the best (rented apt, older model stove).
Not first purchase of Lodge brand, definitely won't be the last!
Highly recommend, if you're interested in true cast iron cookware.

12 inch Lodge cast iron skillet

I was having trouble lifting my old iron skillet, so got this one because it has 2 handles. It is easier to lift with 2. It was well seasoned at the factory, which is nice since I had to season my old ones myself. I cooked a perfect over easy egg in it first thing!

I purchased this over month ago and have been seasoning it for about 5-6 times in oven.
I cooked for the first time in this skillet over the weekend, and it did great.  I was cooking with very lean hamburger meat, heated up skillet first and put a little olive oil in to start and there was no sticking whatsoever. Cleanup was a breeze.  I like the construction of this skillet as it has the 2 handles and this is so much easier for me to lift, etc.  I will cook with more fatty foods for a while to get it seasoned good.  I am very happy with it and think the price was very reasonable.

No Sticking!

I have many cast iron (CI) pieces - Lodge, Victoria (modern; nothing $$$$$) plus old iron - Griswold, Wagner, Piqua. Love every piece; each has its own "personality." My main reason for reviewing is to let others know that there's NO difference between this model, L10SKLSTOT and the one on Lodge.com, the L10SKL other than the labeling stuck on the pan. Walmart sells both. I bought this one because the price was incredible. The back of the pan I got (L10SKLSTOT) has L10SKL cast right into it. So it's more of a marketing gimmick - you're getting the same pan. This is a variation on the 12" skillet with two "helper" (small) handles instead of one long handle plus a "helper." Both versions have their pros/cons, but I do like the ability to carry this like a serving plate. Easy to use in the oven, too.  I do wish they'd make the a Chef's series version in this size (they only do that in 14") because I like the slightly thinner metal and curved sides of that series a little better than the "Classic," which this is. On my scale, it's 7 lbs. 2 oz. I find the 12" size handy for even 2 people, gives more cooking room than the 10.25" (though I have lots of those, too, I tend to grab a 12" as it's more versatile). GREAT for pizzas! Take your time, learn and PRACTICE how to use CI and you'll NEVER go back to Teflon or other non-stick. CI isn't for everything, having good stainless pots and pans is needed (acidic foods, boiling things), but at the cost of Lodge (holy cow, $25 for this when I got it), there's no reason not to have both!  Happy cooking!

Lodge, INCREDIBLE value!

I love Lodge products so of course I love this one . No one can ever go wrong buying one . No matter what other pots and pans you have every kitchen is not complete without an iron skillet. They tell little care and they last for ever. I am 64 yrs and I have the iron skillet my great grandmother used. It will be handed down to my son. And Lord willing it will continue to be handed down for generations to come

Lodge

Love this skillet, the two handles make it easy to turn out the cornbread , make a nice crispy crust…always good to purchase a product that is made in the USA!

I wish there was a way to have a cast iron pan that wasn't so heavy. I know that's impossible but.  I was thinking this was a size between small and this size and with a handle. It has been easy to cook in and I like the handles on each side. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to lift it.

Very disappointed with this cast iron skillet. It has a few areas that looks like rust is showing through, Yes you read that correctly... Rust...  Being brand new it had to happen from the factory while making the skillet.  I can't say for sure.  I was able to still cook christmas eve dinner for my family. I do know with the rusty looking spots i feel it will not last very many years.
