The extra firm holds up well after frying and simmering. Takes on the flavor of your seasoning and sauce. I used as substitute for beef and chicken in Hungarian goulash and red curry chicken . For red curry and butter chicken I also used cauliflower. Perfect for all Asian dishes too!

Tofu shredded to egg consistency, garlic powder, onion powder, low sodium salt, turmeric, black pepper, and a pinch of black salt. Fry in oil of choice just like eggs. I added veggies like an omelet. (I also just learned that you can freeze tofu)

Made my first egg scramble and it was good!

If you're going to eat Tofu, this is a good choice. I eat this during some days of Lent or some other times when I'm not eating meat. I typically make Tofu Homestyle which there are good recipes out there on the internet. It's basically just panfried tofu, set aside, grab your bag of "stir fry" veggies and stir fry them, when done, add some soy sauce with some brown sugar and put in a little heat and mix it up. these are the basics. there are lots of professional recipes for this Sichuan dish.

I buy this all the time in my local Walmart store but for some reason they have chosen to replace it with a different brand that uses more ingredients and causing bloating for me. This brand is a good firm tofu packed in water and does a good job in whatever I use it for. I mainly cut it up into cubes, lightly spritz with olive oil and then coat with nutritional yeast and put in the air fryer for 10 minutes. I then add it daily to my salad to up my protein level.

The best for me

I have been using this brand of organic tofu for several years. Never had a problem with it. Since I am only cooking for 1 person, I cut it into smaller pieces which I store in the refrigerator. I typically cook this in the toaster oven with carrots or other vegetables and a little asian sauce, and it tastes great. This makes a healthy meal which is easy to prepare, and very economical.

Great organic tofu

I highly recommend Nasoya tofu for anyone on a vegan diet.
Finding vegan/plant-based food that actually tastes good can be a challenge, but these hit the mark perfectly.
I find myself eating these very often, and they've become a regular part of my meal rotation. 
I've already bought them multiple times and will definitely continue to buy them.

Perfect for Vegans – Highly Recommend

Perfect for using Tofu for any tofu dishes - it's organic, extra firm and it's Nagoya - a great source for purchasing perfect tofu.   Keep offering this, Walmart!

Nagoya Organic Tofu is Perfect

I use the tofu with all different firmness depending on dish I prepare, this extra firm is best for salad and stir fry, silken for soup. All of the various firmness of the product absorb well the flavors of other ingredients cooked with them, best of all, they are healthy and nutritious.

Super wonder food

This Extra Firm Organic Tofu is really good. We were able to prepare it Teriyaki style, and then actually air fry it. It took on the Teriyaki flavor perfectly, it browned up and crisped up really nice. It tasted great and we enjoyed it except for one thing. This extra firm could be a little more firm. This was really soft and very very moist. We pressed the water out with paper towels for about 30 minutes and it was still mushy inside. We have a Tofu press and should have used it to get a dryer and meatier texture, but we were in a hurry. This was our fault, but this is still soft and watery for an extra firm Tofu.

I would still recommend it, just use a press. It tastes good, and fits into any dish calling for Tofu. It is high quality, takes on flavor well and most of all, it is organic. 4 stars from us.

Tasty but mushy for extra firm

This brand was supposed to be extra firm tofu, but it started to fall apart as soon as I took it out of the packaging and it was difficult to press without it crumbling and cut it into cubes. Next time I will order super firm and see how that compares. Hopefully it will be better for cooking.

The shopper didn't notice that this product didn't have any water/liquid inside. So it was molded when I did open it. The shoppers really should pay closer attention.
