Quality eyeshadow , nice colors however we need more true grays that are matte . It's great to pick a color you really like, instead of getting stuck with a whole pallet with a lot of colors you don't like . Goes on smooth stays on all day without fallout . . Would recommend.

Great eyeshadow!

It's hard to find a good and beautiful green shadow, that had deep tones. This one called "Night Porter" is a great find. Goes on nicely, and they also send a shadow base to go under it. Use dry or wet,

"Night Porter" is the deep green you might crave.

Cabos San Lucas is the perfect base shade because it sets your eyeshadow primer with a very slight sheen and natural color. Any eyeshadow you apply over it will not be streaky and it will take on the same smooth texture of this gorgeous eyeshadow beneath it. I wear it from lash to brow by itself and it looks amazing every time. No learning curve or fallout; just an easy wash of youthful color applied with a nice fluffy brush. Great to combine with shades of brown, purple, green, and blue.

The Ultimate Natural

I actually got this for my eyebrows. I struggle with brow powders not being dark or pigmented enough but this one is perfect! It lasts all day and doesn't have any fall out.

The greatest asset Nars has to offer with eyeshadows is the ability to apply wet or dry. Never ending options with shadows used as liners. So many beautiful original looks.

# 1 Diverse color options .....

The eyeshadow itself is great, but the color of the shadow isn't even close to the color of the photograph. This shadow is dark, dark brown. I am using it as eye liner. I had looked elsewhere online for a picture of the color, but couldn't find it, so I assumed that the color was correct. I was wrong.

I bought ROME based on internet photos only, and it looked just as gorgeous in person. However, I almost returned it, because the first time I used it, I applied it directly on my powdered eyelids and the pigment was not impressive- I could barely see it at all! But I decided to give it a 2nd chance before I returned it, and I'm glad I did. I applied some cream foundation to my lids as a primer (without powder), and applied ROME directly on top. The appearance intensified significantly, and looked gorgeous. I've had this problem with other shimmery NARS shadows (Night Rider, Ashes To Ashes - both of which I returned), so it seems to be a formulary problem. NARS' matte shades have fantastic pigment (Coconut Grove, Bali), and I wish they could work out the bugs with their shimmer shadows. But overall, ROME is a beautiful silvery/taupey/plummy shade...if applied correctly.

ROME is gorgeous...IF applied over primer or fdn.

I absolutely lovee the color but the fallout from the glitter is overboard crazy i went to an hour appointment by time i was back home and looked in mirror my face was covered in sparkles and not a great look for a 40 year old woman lol.. but if i could figure out how to make fallout not happen id def raise the stars to a 5star...

Color is not as it seemed online. Plus the portions are really small. They are making them smaller than years before. Be aware.
