I found a recipe that called for a vanilla bean, since i was doing a large quantity and vanilla beans were very expensive i researched and heard about vanilla bean paste. I used this product and was amazed at the flavor you get from this paste, you use it just as regular vanilla extract if it calls for 1 tsp. you use 1 tsp. Also you get the little vanilla bean pieces that show in your frosting and vanilla cakes that makes it extra special. This was definitely a great choice...

This is good to use when you are making something that you want the vanilla flavor to come through such as cookies. You would not want to use this on a receipe that. has another overpowering spice. Use your regular extract for those.

Good vanilla flavor

My first purchase and use of a bean paste. Highly recommend. Seems to taste milder and better than regular vanilla.  Glad I bought two. Worth the extra expense.

Great product

Who knew there was such a thing - the best thing ever.   What a wonderful rich taste.  You even get the real vanilla bean black flecks in your food.  I bake a lot so will be using this product for sure.

Vanilla Bean Paste

I had vanilla paste before and could not get it at the same store. I was so happy to see Walmart carries it, and for less.
It makes everything you would put vanilla in-even better because of the consistency and of course, the specks of the bean.

Awesome bean paste!

Excellent flavor!  Great price-or at least it USED to be!  Shipped to my local store in three days with free shipping. Went back 1 month later to buy more and the price doubled

Vanilla bean paste

This is a delicious paste!!!  You'll be happy to use this product in whatever baking item you need vanilla in.  It's also terrific when you make ice cream or icing.  You will be very pleased you used this.  It's the BEST!!!  I will continue to order it on line with Walmart.com    It's free deliver to the store and all you have to do is wait for the text or email from them and go to Customer Service, show your ID and the test or email message and away you go. DELICIOUS VANILLA BEAN PASTE!!!

My opinion is this is much better when used in recipes that call for Vanilla Extract especially in Ice Cream.

Excellent price for vanilla bean paste. Gives no- churn vanilla ice cream a great flavor and that wonderful speckled look.

it would be great if all Walmart's carry it in there store in baking isle , it unreal how you have to buy it before getting it. Go back to the way it was need it go to Wal-Mart to get it now.

good product

Item is described as being a "paste".  In reality, it is more like a syrup.  Kind of gloppy, no real evidence of actual vanilla beans.  Taste when baked ended up quite artificial though it describes itself as being pure and natural.  Was hoping for lots of those nice vanilla flecks to show up and they just didn't.  Not worth the price.  Invest in the real thing and get vanilla beans if you want a higher quality end result.
