I bought these shoes to see if my chronic foot pain would ease up or go away. I was nervous about not ordering a half size bigger because I am on my feet a lot as a nurse, but the shoe is true to size, light weight and VERY comfortable! I have no pain when i wear these, even after a 12 hours shift. 10/10 highly recommend!

Light, comfortable, airy and good for wide feet. I wear a women's wide sneaker typically and these regular width runners fit me well. Very comfortable, didn't feel like they needed to be broken in. Will be great for summer. Look very clean and trendy. The mesh is light enough on the sides that I can see the colour of my socks through. Probably won't be great for cooler/wetter months. Great value for money though! Happy with my purchase.

Great for wide feet

I got this pair of 530s because my first pair had been run ragged because of how often I wore them. They are my everyday shoe, they are so comfortable and cute and I will be repurchasing when this pair gets worn out

I recently picked up the New Balance 530 and they’ve quickly become my go-to sneakers. The retro design really stands out, but what impressed me more is the comfort. The ABZORB cushioning makes a noticeable difference, especially during long walks or full days out — my feet don’t feel tired like they usually do.
They’re lightweight, breathable, and fit true to size, which made the whole experience easy right from the first wear. I also like how versatile they are — they go well with both casual and slightly dressed-up outfits.
Overall, a great mix of style, comfort, and everyday usability. Definitely worth it

Retro Style with All-Day Comfort

Excellent fit, support and quality. They are a great all rounder shoe that I use for both my gym classes and runs. I haven’t purchased new runners for a long time and am loving how comfortable the 530s are. I would recommend the new balance 530 and I would definitely purchase them again.

New Balance 530 sports shoe

I've been wearing the New Balance 530 for a while now and honestly they exceeded my expectations. They are incredibly lightweight and comfortable, even after walking all day. The cushioning feels soft without being too bulky, and my feet don't get tired in them.

I also really like the design — they have that perfect mix of retro and modern style, so they go with almost everything. The quality feels solid, and they were comfortable from the first wear with almost no break-in period.

Definitely one of the most comfortable sneakers I've owned.

Incredible sneakers

Bought these before my recent Disney trip and they felt great through 6 straight 20K step days!

These shoes are so cute, but the inserts in the shoes are comparable to a basic liner that I'd expect the support to be on top of. It's so bad my Mother legitimately thought the actual soles had been stolen in shipping. There's no arch support and the insert is so thin and cheap you can feel the bottom of the shoe. Thankfully I just pulled some soles out of a different pair of shoes and put them in these but I shouldn't have to for the price… 😞 But at least they are true to size and very stylish

Only okay for walking short distances

I have been a customer of New Balance because I trust the brand's reputation for quality, which is why this purchase was disappointing.

The front of the right shoe is noticeably misshapen and appears to be stretched forward, making the pair look inconsistent. In addition, the stitching on the tongue of the left shoe is torn, which raises concerns about the overall quality control of the product.

Unfortunately, returning the shoes was not a practical option for me, so I decided to keep them. However, considering the defects present upon arrival, I do not feel that the quality of the product matches the price I paid.

I hope New Balance will review this issue and consider an appropriate resolution. I would also appreciate any feedback regarding how this quality concern can be addressed.

It doesn't worth it

New Balance EMEA

I have always worn a size 7 in New Balance sneakers.  I ordered size 7 women's and they are way too big.  I think perhaps shoes have gone the way of women's clothes, where size 0 is what a size 4 used to be.  But there is no warning about this.  I'm told I have to go to a store to return these or exchange them, which rather misses the convenience of ordering online.  And I guess I have to try on sneakers in the store to see if I now wear a 6-1/2 or just a 6.
