I am wearing orthotics in the shoe that's why they had to be so why and they are hard to get over the orthotics, but it's working for me. It's the first time that my foot is not completely walking on the ground.

I've bought NB 608 since 2000. This shoe I only wear at Jazzercise. I arrive in my separate shoes and change into my 608's for the most wear. Because of my height and weight I purchased 2 shoes at a time.  I'm 6ft 175 lbs  I wear a men's 11 2E the best comfort for me.

A pair of cross-training shoes for my dad's Christmas gift.  He uses them mostly for his morning & evening walks and what a difference in the comfort he feels.  No more back aches or feet pain which is amazing. As long as my dad's walking in comfort, I know he will continue to walk for his health.  He's happy and I'm happy!  Best Christmas gift ever. Christmas Gift for Dad

I have worn NB shoes since their inception. Transitioned from running shoes to walking shoes. Love the fact that I can get 4E widths. I even have NB golf shoes. Quality product. At age 86 I have had a love affair with New Balance footwear for years.

Unquestionable quality

I have used NB shoes for years and recently purchased this model because of the material used at the top of the toe area. This material promises to last longer than the mesh on my other NB shoes which has worn through after a short time of use.  These shoes are comfortable, offer great support for my 2.5 mile walks, and are also attractive. I have ordered another pair as a backup.

608v5 trainers

I am a New Balance customer for over forty years and I have tried other “extra wide” brands, only to find that they weren't wide enough for me. 
I'm usually a 4E width, but I thought I would try a 6E to see if it felt better than the 4E. The extra width was helpful, however , the MX 608V5, was very hard, so I had to buy inserts to make them comfortable enough to wear. I usually wear running shoes so I expected less cushioning. I love the width but I can only see myself wearing these shoes for short periods of time.

This is my go-to shoe model but the top of the left shoe made a cupping sound as it popped back to shape during a step. This was pretty obnoxious but I was able to end that sound by bending the top of the shoe and breaking it in. I had never experienced that with the many pairs of this model I have worn.

My go-to yet it squeaks

Stylish shoes, my dogs were BARKING those first 4 days of breaking them in. They are easy to clean when they get dirty and they keep my feet dry when cleaning floors and doing dishes. They did get comfortable after finally breaking them in. At first it feels like there's no arch support but the insoles form to the shape of your feet. They are holding up pretty well after about 3 weeks of wearing them everyday for work. They also add about an inch of height which is is cool too.

Good Shoes

I am a New Balance fan, have bought their shoes for years and always been very happy. This was the first pair of cross trainers I ever bought. Usually buy walking or running shoes. 1 week after purchase, the material near one of the shoelace eyelets completely ripped open. Disappointed in quality for the first time ever.

These shoes felt like I was wearing hallow bricks. Compared to the 990v6 these are a JOKE! Spend the extra money and save your feet. Only plus was they were actually wide.
