Good value for the money. Assembly directions and diagrams could have been a little more clear, but we got it together. I like the wood finish; it fits with other furniture in the room.

Instructions for assembly are terrible, your best to just separate the parts and figure it out on your own, I'm quite handy so to me it was no big thing, I feel that someone with no assembly experience would have problems, other that that its a very nice and good looking cabinet

Looks Good

I feel that the filing cabinet represents good value and presents a nice appearance. The only negative I find is that it is legal size, meaning that the letter size files I use, when dropped into legal size hanging folders required for this unit, tend to slide around a bit from side to side. Not a major disadvantage, but something to consider. Would have been perfect if it were sized for letter size files!

Good value for the money

I couldn't find a legal size cabinet except this one to fit in my restricted height space. There is only one main issue regarding assembly. Be sure to put the bottom panel with the black finished side toward the inside or the unfinished edge shows in front when assembled. The instructions did not specify this and I did not realize the problem until it was too late. But I have this cabinet in my closet so it doesn't matter and if I want, I can always paint the that shows black.

This worked for my restricted height space.

So, the instructions are all pictures and some of those are awfully small and pretty hard to tell which way a particular piece is pointing. I took my time putting it together and got three pieces the wrong way. But they were relatively easy to take out and put in the right way. Be careful screwing on the cabinet handles. The plastic isn't so strong, so one of mine split a little when I screwed it in too hard. Otherwise, it looks really nice and I like that it is legal size so large and small files will fit. I'd buy this again.

Drawers work great for what I was looking for but the color of the drawers were darker than I expected.

Great product

The product is nice sturdy material but the drawers do not include hardware to hang letter-size files. I have to find additional material to add to drawers to hang my files in.

Not immediately usable

The piece is attractive and matches any modern office motif. The product I received, however, was not perfect. It had a conspicuous scratch/scrape on the top which I'll have to fill in with wood touch-up. Also, there are four pieces (with four screws) that don't seem to fit anywhere. The drawers appear unfinished but those four pieces simply don't fit on them to finish them. Because it's the interior of the piece, it may not matter. I installed a file-hanger so as long as that stays put, it will be functional.

Not Great

It looks great was easy to put together, but by the picture you would think it was a letter size file cabinet.  After it was put together realized it was legal size.  It doesn't say anything in the description letter or legal.  Kinda of disapointed.

Not what I expected

Maybe it is me, but this product is too difficult and time consuming to put together. After a few frustrating hours, I am giving up and returning it. For a few extra bucks, get an aluminum one.
You will be just as happy and will not invest time that I will never get back.
