I really like this chaise lounge. It is a light grey with a velour finish (so I've been able to simply wipe off any stains with a clorox wipe). My dogs love sitting on it, and it is sturdy enough to hold 2 adults and 2 dogs. The legs are a light cherry brown in color, which looks great when contrasted with the grey. It arrived in one tall, narrow box, weighing a little under a hundred pounds, but I was able to get it up a flight of stairs with help from another person. The setup was easy, and it took me about 30 minutes to do on my own. I was looking for a slightly undersized chaise lounge that's both modern and elegant for my sun room / office, and this is exactly what I got. I'd highly recommend it.

Perfect Office Couch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We will be using this daybed as a modeling couch for children and it is very open and versatile.
The fabric has a suede feel to it, nice tight upholstery which should last a long time.
The fabric shows and holds every touch and texture of any item that rests on it.
There were several fly-away threads that had to be clipped, but the quality and seems are overall very nice for a daybed at this price.

The legs attach easily and are solid, they do not have any screw adjustment to compensate for uneven flooring. On a nice flat floor, this did not wobble in and there are felt pads on the bottom of each leg.

Assembly can be done by one person and is pretty straight forward, all tools and pieces needed are included in a packet stored under the bed.

The color is true to the listing. The back pillows rise well above the back support, so over time I expect those to bend back at the top third.

Overall, very nice and comfortable. I am 5' 9" tall, anyone taller than that will have their feet extending over the end.

Very pleased, I found the size/shape/quality to be just as I expected. Great value.

Firm, nice fabric, comfortable and stable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product arrived quickly and the package was torn and ripped open at one end and had holes in the side of the box fortunately they covered the daybed/chaise with some type of material that kept the chaise completely clean and there was no damage the package stated that this product weighed one hundred pounds so I can understand why the box was beat up it took my husband and myself to bring it in the house the box is very large and awkward to handle but worth it I ordered the Better Homes and Gardens Nola Mid century Modern Upholstered Daybed/Chaise Lounge upholstered in Gray the overall size of the daybed/lounge is seventy one inches long thirty one and a half inches deep the seat is about eighteen and a half inches high the back and end seating area is about thirty and one quarter inches high there is two square cousins at about twenty and a half inches by eighteen inches and there is a roll pillow at about twenty inches long the legs are eight inches tall this daybed/chaise lounge is very strong very sturdy very firm and very comfortable and feels very solid this has without a doubt plenty of room to take a nap or to get a good night sleep it is a velvet material that is so soft and it seems to go with just about anything in the room it went in my husbands office and is getting a lot of use but our cats thinks it belongs to them and in a way I guess it does because they let us use it and there is plenty of room for them and us it is very easy to clean and the cat hair comes right off with ease we took all the pieces out of the box and made sure all the pieces were there read the instructions in the booklet then started putting it together which took us about twenty minutes to do it was that easy to put together this would be a nice for a college student dorm room or any room in your home the instruction was very easy to read and to use it makes it very clear on how to put this daybed/chaise lounge together I would love to have one of these in every room of my house.

So comfortable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ease of set up was very nice! It took an hour. I like the gray color. Although, I would like to have the option to choose other colors. I needed more seating options in my great room. The style looks more updated. The gray color would nice in a efficiency apartment or bachelor bad. The cushion is supportive & comfortable. Since, I have this style & color, I may change my color scheme in my house. Additionally, I love wooden support legs! It's a nice touch of style!

Upholstered daybed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Especially in the Summer and Fall, when I get company coming up for a visit that usually means I give them the bedroom and I sleep on the leather couch. As a result, I wake up with aches and pains.
I needed something better and when I saw the Nola Daybed from Better Homes and Gardens, I knew that I had just found it. 
It comes in a soft, velvety gray fabric that blends with everything and it fit into the one corner of the living room perfectly (67.5" L x 33" W x 35" H). Not only does it give a guest a place to sleep, but it gives me an extra sitting and lounging area. It's the perfect solution for me.
I am over 70 years old and I assembled it easily. All the screws and hardware were supplied. The two back pillows and the rolled pillow were stored inside a velcro covered bottom of the daybed. After I had attached the bolts, I simply covered the bottom up again with the velcro. The grey fabric is said to wipe clean easily, which is a bonus when snackers are over.
The legs are sturdy with 4 screws to the metal plates of each leg and they say it has a 400 lb. capacity, so it is great for company using it as a couch! This is a perfect solution as well as a beautiful addition to my home. It is very comfortable to lie down on and makes an excellent spare bed besides being a very nice piece of furniture.

Easy Assembling, Beautiful Results

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really was surprised at how easy this was to put together. You can do this by yourself, but be sure to have an electric driver to speed it up. Also be sure to align all of the bolts before tightening them. You want to be sure that they have a solid hold.

I am happy more & more with Better Homes & Gardens furniture; the quality & care put into the designs are very nice. I would believe that it will be around for quite some time.

The velvet feel is very nice, & smooth. The foam padding is firm. There aren't any adjustments to this daybed/chaise, for either spring or height. It comes with padded feet for sliding, which is a great feature. It's easy to maneuver by yourself, once it is together.

It is listed to hold 400 lbs, which is good, so a couple people can sit on it & not break it. It only stands about 9" off the floor, so you aren't going to be able to slide a trundle under it. It isn't designed to do that, just be stand alone. I think it's plenty tall for what it is, leaning more towards a chaise.

The under lining is hook & loop sealed, & taking from their shipping method, you could store some pillows & linens up in the crevices, if you need to.

Comfortable daybed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product definitely is a two man assembly process. Two of the bolts did not align, with the predrilled holes, during the assembly process. I got my drill out, and a couple long wood screws, and finished the assembly of this product. The fabric feels like a soft velour. It comes complete with cushion, two back pillows and a cylinder pillow. The pillow and cushions are securely snuggled UNDERNEATH AND INSIDE the seat cushion frame, during shipping. When completely assembled, it is easy to vacuum under it. The height from the floor is perfect.

Better Homes and Gardens Daybed/chaise

This daybed/chaise came in a large box and all we had to do was screw in the legs and the back and side support. It comes with all the tools to put together and great instructions although they are not really needed as it is self-explanatory. At first, we couldn't find the holes to attach the support sides to, but if you look under the couch, they are there. Still very, very easy. 
After putting it in place, sitting and lounging on it, I can say it is a very attractive addition to our furniture. 
As for comfort: It is sturdy and hard. I couldn't imagine sleeping on it myself, but we had extended family over and my 13-year-old nephew actually slept on it and didn't complain. His feet almost hung off and if he were taller, he would not have fit. I would say 3 adults could fit comfortably on it. It has some big pillows and the roll pillow that make lounging on it comfortable enough. 
The fabric is a suede material and so far, has held up. 
We use it in my son's bedroom so he can use it while watching TV, playing guitar & PlayStation and he loves it. 
I think it is a great product and would recommend it for space saving needs, or just as an attractive, sleek looking lounge to add to your home.

Sleek looking lounge

I absolutely love the way it looks, but it is not the most comfortable seating option I owne. The chaise is quite hard.

The color is more of a blueish grey in person and looks cheaper than the dark grey that appears here. It's also super shiny compared to the more matte velvet that I have from actual furniture stores, and the shininess adds to the cheap look. The cushions are hard which is fine for a daybed but they're also sort of crunchy. As if they feel like they were Styrofoam instead of an actual cushion. Not worth the effort to take apart and figure out how to put it back in the box to return... Hoping some nice pillows and stuff can help make it look less cheap. Also the legs are brighter in person and shiny as well. Such a shiny cheap piece.
