Missing one of the bird perches which left a gaping hole and bird seed come flying out of the side when it was filled,

I put new finch food in it and the finches won't touch it. They loved the old one which finally broke after squirrels knocked it down too many times. The squirrels have chewed on the plastic perches of this one, and have torn off the plastic finch slot covers. Even without the finch covers and regular seed, the other birds don't like it, either. Pretty strange.  The label says "3 year guarantee" but no details on what it's guaranteed for.

For some reason, the finches don't like it.

Seams  don't meet so seed fall out 
Feeder pieces fall IN or OUT of cylinder, but never stay in place. I returned all to nearest Walmart. Total waste of my time.

CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP

Purchased this feeder and it was severely damaged by squirrels within hours. The feeder guard was pulled out and the opening chewed. I lost all of the very expensive finch food  I thought this would last a bit longer

Doesn't last

I knew from the price that I wasn't going to be getting a high quality feeder. But the thistle setting (the reason I purchased the feeder) does not seem to work. Not a single bird in my backyard has managed to get anything out of it yet, and it's been almost three weeks. I finally gave up today and moved the thistle into a higher quality feeder, which attracted chickadees and others almost instantly.

Cheap but Useless

I bought this feeder 3 days ago. A thunderstorm came through...as storms happen in all parts of the world. It blew off the chain holding it onto a branch of the tree, and cracked. The top won't stay on. Currently it is being held together with tie straps and duct tape until I find one that seems sturdier. At least since I used the decorative duct tape, it is the most colorful bird feeder ever.

I would understand the plastic cracking if it had been exposed to the weather for over 2 years consistently, but 3 days?

Don't waste your money. Move on to something else.

Don't buy this! Horrible!

This feeder does not hold mixed seed as stated. When I filled the feeder all the seed kept pouring out of the openings. This is a poor design.

Do not purchase this finch feeder.  Finches can not feed from it.   My seed is fresh so i know that is not the problem.

The birds do not like this feeder.
I even put it near a feeder they eat from to see if they will be attracted to this one.   I can't figure out why they don't like it.

Save your money

I'm shopping for a new feeder since the bird seed is still inside and the birds can't get to it!
