The Cottage Birdfeeder is part of an extensive Village Collection of feeders. This little cottage is perfect for the backyard. Measuring 10.25"w x 9.5"d x 11"h, this feeder holds 5 lbs. of seed, and can be mounted from a pole or hung on a tree branch or hook. To monitor seed levels, the white-framed windows feature clear plastic panes. Great Birdhouse

Love this feeder, the detailing on it is so adorable! The birds look so cute as they peek through the windows on each side at the other birds :-) One thing...you really need a funnel to fill it through the chimney to keep from spilling it all over, not a big deal though.

Great birdfeeder, sturdy!

My granddaughter bought this for me at the Seffner, FL Walmart for $10. I came online to see if they had others in the collection and was surprised to read the negative reviews. My birds were on it within minutes! Titmouse, Carolina Chickadees, and the House Finches are very active at this feeder. They have no problems flying to and landing on this feeder. 

What I love about this feeder: the openings for the seed to fall through are large, so I can fill it with Fruit and Nut and nothing clogs up. This means my little birds don't have to compete with my larger birds for this treat. Everyone is happy! Plus, it is adorable and a happy addition to my yard.

Con: It is harder to fill, but not so much that I would complain very loudly. Definitely worth the extra few minutes it takes to fill.

I'm including one photo of a Titmouse at the feeder to show you it works. More often than not, there are usually 2-3 at any given time.

Blue Ribbon Winner

I chose this feeder because I read that blue birds are attracted to the color blue. I have been feeding birds for one year in my current location and although I saw bluebirds they would never come to my feeder. My research also told me that bluebirds mainly eat meal worms and fruits and berries and that the feeder should have a roof and a tray for the birds to feed from. I filled my feeder with mealworms, also purchased from Walmart, and in less than 24 hours I had a pair of blue birds that now come to my feeder every day throughout the day. My only complaint about this feeder is that the chimney is a bit small to pour mealworms into and I had to make my own adjustable funnel from a 2 x8” piece of plastic from around the top of a milk jug so that the worms didn't go all over the place like they did my first time around! The feeder was also very affordable at $10 while many other “bluebird feeders “ which I saw online were $20-50 and more. I couldn't be happier!

Great for bluebirds!

I Love this feeder it is to fill just pop the lid off the roof and pour in seed. It has very  tiny slates for airflow where the bird food feeds out  on sides of feeder and rest for feeding, great if it happens to rain or sprinklers get it wet the seeds and feeder are able to dry faster.  Please note this does not effect it's ability to hold food . The color and cottage style are very pretty in the back yard. Being plastic it is very easy to clean and maintain. Only downside the squirrels love it also.

Birds favorite feeder and easy to maintain

I have had many squirrels climbing all over it. Zero wear and tear, and it is still hanging.  They have destroyed others in a day.  Big capacity,  and looks nice

Best birdhouse ever!

This is my very first review, EVER in my history of purchasing goods. Thought of writing this review simply because of the practical issues that I encountered using this beautiful birdfeeder for probably over 3 months. No doubt, this birdhouse is sturdy, appeared to be a durable, beautiful birdfeeder and the birds love it! However, 
1. you only can feed certain grains in it (at least in the one I received); Black Oil Sunflower Seeds get stuck inside the housing compartment and prevent it from having a free flow into the tray. So, you constantly have to meddle with the feeder to unstuck the seeds. 
2. Small seeds like Thistle seeds drain out to the ground because of the width of the slots on the tray. So, I had to resort to seeds like safflower with this feeder.
3. Cleaning is a mess! because it's hard to detach the tray from the housing compartment. The way it has been set up, it is not a mechanism to slide the tray in and out. If you have any limitation with the mobility of your fingers or any weakness of your fingers, this is not the birdfeeder for you!
4. You have to be very meticulous with refilling too, which is very frustrating!!! I have about 30-50 birds eating off of multiple feeders at any point during the day, and I refill my feeders every 3-4 days. In my opinion, the opening is too small; if the provider could figure out a way to open the roof as the opening to refill, instead of the small chimney, it would resolve practical issues relevant to refilling.  
Pls don't get me wrong, you, the provider/manufacturer have a product that is pleasing to the eye, and seems to be durable but, IMO, to make this birdfeeder a great product, you should modify it and attend to practical issues. 
I personally see great potential for this product, if only this company is wise enough to consider the humble opinions of their customers who deal with their products on a daily basis!

Looks beautiful BUT not practical!!
