[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ivory oak nightstand from Novogratz Kelly is gorgeous and simple. It took my partner about 30 minutes to put together. It feels strong and sturdy and looks sleek. I was surprised by how much storage space it has. The underside open area is huge! You can use it to store most things, like a small trash can, books, lotions, etc. The drawer is perfect for storing personal items that you would prefer not to have on display. The top of the nightstand also has a lot of space, as you can see in the included photo I have plenty of space available. If you happen to use a CPAP machine, there is a lot of space to accommodate your machine, equipment, and supplies. The design is sleek, simple, and modern. I love the combination of ivory oak with black metal. I would definitely recommend this nightstand to a friend. It's great!

Which is a good thing, as one can never have too much nightstand space, especially a bookworm like myself, who's "to be read or halfway read" current nightstand pile is growing. It was easily assembled, you'll need your own tools however, a couple of screwdrivers and a hammer for the back piece. The metal base comes with it's own allen wrench for assembly. I was able to get it assembled in about 30 minutes from open box, inventory check, to finish. The drawer glides easily open and closed and the bottom shelf is plenty roomy. It's actually quite a nice piece for any bedroom!

Cute & Larger than anticipated

It has a drawer to put my tv remote and magazines plus a ton of open storage on the bottom. It was a breeze to put together and the color is a beautiful light creamy color. I love the sturdiness to it also, it is built to last.

Decorative night stand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nightstand is very appealing. Really nice color. I've never had anything that was ivory oak before, now I will definitely buy matching furniture. The assembly instructions were pretty straightforward, very easy to understand. I was breezing right through it until I got to the base. That's when I hit a snag. The base is made of steel soft bends a certain way and it didn't line up with the holes. After a few frustrating minutes I got it to kinda line up, at least enough to be able to screw the screws in. Othernthan that, it took me about an hour to put it together, which is only because I did it alone. It recommends two people and I do too. There are 3 things to put together so it would be time efficient for a second person to put the drawer and base together as you put the nightstand itself together. Its very durable and is definitely a premium quality product. I'm glad to have it.

Really nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Followed instructions step by step and everything went together perfectly looked great. My issue is the door jams so disappointing. I went over instruction and tighten all screws to no avail. Bought Novogratz night stand because I understand there furniture is considered outstanding quality.

Disappointed

Easy enough to assemble with pictures and numbered/lettered parts. Smooth sailing until the end when you go to put the drawer in and it doesn't close all of the way and gets stuck on something. I tried everything from tightening screws to be flush, to loosening and readjusting the metal slides, and everything in between. Cheap nightstands for a reason. Not to mention they put the letter assembly stickers on the outside face of every piece so you have to gently and carefully remove them or else you'll scratch the finish or have nasty sticker residue everywhere.

Not Worth It

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this nightstand for review and I actually needed one. So I began to assemble it and checked all the parts to make sure I had everything. The instructions are pretty simple. Some pages advise you to have 2 people but that's not always necessary. The back panel was difficult to assemble. Even after placing it around the edges as directed, it still managed to move up towards the top of the nightstand. I was actually missing a part. The screws that come with the metal base were only 3 instead of 4. One wasn't constructed right so I had to find one in my supply that I already had and it wasn't the exact size I needed. The second screws(#10) that you assemble the metal base to the bottom of the nightstand with, did not tighten to the nightstand. The drawer that I assemble to go in the nightstand is not close enough to one side of it and can't be adjusted. You will see in my photo below. This nightstand would not be a good purchase and it probably wouldn't last long from what I see and it has a indecent weight limit for items you want to put on it. I have also included a photo of the missing screw.

Missing parts and...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, so I read the mixed reviews before buying this item. I thought to myself…how bad could it be… BEWARE!!! This furniture is very cheap. I mean Walmart furniture is luxury compared to this. I would rank this the poorest china furniture I have ever seen. IKEA and Walmart are at a higher level than this. Which is surprising because from looking at it…you would think differently. The color they have on the furniture appears to be stuck on by what looks like thin paper or sticker material. I have never seen anything like this before. I bought two night stands and the dresser from this collection and all are damaged. I was extremely careful getting it out of the box and putting it together. Everything is chipped and dinged. What got me to purchase these items originally was how visually beautiful it is. I love the style of it but when you see it in person and feel it, use it, open the drawers..you can see this is not going to last a year. I would not recommend this furniture to anyone I know. SAVE YOUR MONEY and get something that doesn't  break from lightly touching it or using it.

Nightmare purchase!!! BEWARE!!!
