It was definitely awkward to carry upstairs since basically it came as one piece, but fold it in half and then the arms were up underneath of it. I am actually surprised by the color. I didn't think I was gonna like it. I was just gonna get a couch cover, but I actually really do like it. It looks elegant and almost like the Victorian antique style. It is definitely hard when you first sit on it and give it a chance you got a break it in just like a mattress you got to sleep on it for the first couple months or so before it actually breaks in like a new pair shoes. overall I am very pleased as I only paid about $150 for this one.

I LOVEEEEE these couches (I bought two)! They are comfortable and medium firm as the description listed. They came just in time for my party and it fit 4-5 people max. It took about 30 minutes to put together and I am NOT a handy person lol. All the tools and legs were packaged inside the couch, which was wonderful. I will note that the box it came in is HUGE %26 it blocked my apartment doorway. They (FedEx) will NOT bring it to your doorway unless you live in a single-family home or townhome ( I think lol).

Worth the MONEY💚

I was very impressed with the build quality, design, use of materials and clever construction of the overall package.  The compactness of the futon was unreal when you compare the box it came in versus the actual, unboxed final version of the product.  The supports for of the futon are integrated into the back of folding cushions by way of a hidden, zippered compartment.  Assembly was easy and ingenious.  When the futon is used as a sofa bed, it is roughly equivalent to a full-size bed and very comfortable due to the use of memory foam.  As for style, the futon is crafted with sumptuous, velvet fabric in vivid colours with tufted backrests that are sturdy and adjustable--especially when used as a sofa bed!  To protect the fabric from unsightly stains, I highly recommend the use of Scotch-guard rather than using a fabric cover since the futon is just too beautiful to hide.  Just be diligent in its use.  I would take a picture of my purchase but my phone died on me at the time of publication.   Finally, when factoring in the purchase price of $220.00, this was a no-brainer for all the reasons listed.  I absolutely love this non-futon, futon!

A great product for the price!

Beautiful for my daughter's first apartment.
Only issue I have is these little tiny tan beads keep falling out of the back between the two sections of the futon.  We cannot figure out where they are coming from.  Other than that it has been great.  Nice color and pretty comfortable.

Color is beautiful, and fabric is soft, but te fabric isn't properly fitted to the foam, and thus, wrinkles and looks sloppy. Arms were a bit tricky to get on alone, but otherwise easy to put together (just unfold, arms on, legs on. It is extra firm, and I couldn't recommend it as a futon, but it's fine for a couch. Good cushion width, but foam is but a wisp-not enough to remember anything.  It's what you expect for for the $290 sale price, but I wouldn't spend the $400  price.

Ok for the sale cost!

This couch is gorgeous and looks super great in my home office. Love the olive green color and the style - fits well in the room. It was a little tricky to get assembled. Lining the arms up just right would have been easier with a second person, but I got it eventually. Screwing the legs on took a while, but overall I would say it wasn't hard to put it together, just not super easy.  My big gripe with this couch is how uncomfortable it is. I bought this because we're using our home office way more during the COVID pandemic. We had a twin bed that we rarely used but wanted to make our office look nicer since we're in it so much more now. I sat on it as soon as it was put together and thought to myself, "Dang. This thing is hard as a rock." Really, it feels like sitting on a hard kitchen chair or a wooden bench. It looks like there's some padding in the seat, but you can't feel it AT ALL. I had to sleep on the futon last night for the first time since buying it and it was a very unpleasant night. I put some blankets underneath my body to try and cushion, but that didn't really help. Took me a long time to fall asleep and I woke up super sore. Feels like I could have slept on the floor and had the same result. Thankfully using it as a bed is a rare event, but I'll probably buy some kind of a cushion/bed topper so that it's more comfortable next time. If I needed it as a futon often, I would give it a lower rating, but since my main need is for an occasional extra seat, it works for what I need. Just wish it had some more padding in the seat.

Looks nice but super uncomfortable!

It looks great and was relatively easy to assemble. However, it is the most UNCOMFORTABLE 
SOFA EVER. I am currently shopping for another sofa and giving this o e to my son-in-law for his office.

Looks gorgeous, was easy to put together, and seems high quality, sturdily made. However, it's as hard as a rock and friends keep asking me why I bought it. BECAUSE IT WAS GREEN, OK.   There is nothing even remotely like memory foam here. Or springs like a normal couch. Nobody has attempted to sleep on it yet, but I laid on it for a while after I put it together and my back was extremely angry about my mistakes. I tried buying a pile of pillows and they only marginally help. I think I'm either going to figure out how to return it (the box was completely destroyed by me trying to get it in the house by myself), or move it downstairs and put an actual mattress on it for a guest bed.

Beautiful but very uncomfortable

very hard, not comfortable, going to see if i can return. bought for a fuest bed but this isnt usable really to sit on even, its too hard. i was going to place a mattress topper on it but the sides are too flimsy to use as a bed or frame.   would not put a guest on this, even 1 staying for a night.

Don't buy this.  It's the hardest sofa I've ever sat on.  If it's memory foam, it was dipped in cement before it was delivered to my house.
It's easy to assemble and it's a beautiful color of green.  However, the material is a mess and it scratches.  Odd thing to do for velvet.

Don't waste your money.
