Since there were many bad reviews regarding loosing connection, I did test the new mouse up to 2.40 meters  (7' 10") to confirm or not the comments. I did not have any problem.  Connectivity was fine.
I used the mouse for 7 days and I assume that the mouse was upgraded since the last reviews. Mine: Model G5L-BK - 081649601219  - Apr 2020

Performance of Wireless Mouse

I am using HP laptop and I need a wireless mouse since I often bring the laptop with me for meetings. Ordered this one and it took couple minutes to set up, then it works well without issue, response is fast. I also like the design and color of the mouse.

Easy to set up and works good

I've been using this mouse for a couple years and it's been fine. Occasionally, on my macbook, it get's "lost" on the screen, but that may be a driver or os x issue. Not a big deal.

[Employee of walmartcanada] I bought this mouse a day ago and i tryed to see if it would work but it didn't even turn on, so i tryed again but i wouldn't turn on again, so i read the instrustion manual to see why i was not turning on, and it said to first pair the mouse with the receaver. So i followed the instrustions to try pairing the receaver to the mouse but it would not work. Then i searched online to try to make it work but i accidently knocked the mouse off my table and it was into a million pieces. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOUSE

Garbage Mouse

I bought this today. it's a piece of junk. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Mostly does not work. Loses connection 2 feet from the receiver more than it works.

Save your sanity, don't buy this mouse.

This mouse does not work. Like the rest of the reviews. Mine wont even light up tried tons of different batteries and those are not the problem.

DO NOT BUY

Absolute garbage. It's less than a foot from it's signal reciever, but loses connection and doesn't work for 1-3 seconds every minute or two.

Loses connection constantly.

Tried on multiple laptops and does not work at all. Lights up when the battery is inputted but no connection when the USB is plugged into the laptop.

I purchased one of these mice last year and it stopped working after about 3 days, I thought I may have damaged the fob when I left it in my laptop while in my backpack.

A few weeks ago I purchased 2 more as I was looking for inexpensive wireless mouses (mice?). One didn't work after opening,  so I returned it to the store and played a few dollars for an upgrade. The second one lasted about 5 days then gave out as well. 

Dont buy this product, spending a few extra dollars will save you more in the long run.

Purchased 3. Max 10 hrs use between them

As soon as I got the mouse I put in the batteries to try and use it. As I was trying to connect my mouse, I noticed it was heating up very quickly. I was concerned so I took off the backing to find the batteries smoking and burning hot, I almost burnt my fingers. I quickly removed the hazardous batteries only to find that they have melted the plastic, making the product useless. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! DO NOT BUY, ITS A HAZARD!!!!
