I love this chair and so does everyone in my office. I put it together in about a half hour with just the contents of the box and a rubber mallet. I am not a small person (think over 6 foot and size XXL) but it fits me perfect. It allows me to raise the seat to fit the length of my legs and gives my back the serious support I like. It comes in a great fruitwood finish. And it is so comfortable

This was a great buy from Walmart. I had been looking for a Bankers chair to go with my oak roll top desk and Walmart had the best price I could find. The shipping was fast and the chair match my desk perfectly. I don't know why they list it as multiple colors as it is more of a stained oak look. I believe it's some type of fruitwood but the grain pattern matches very well with my oak desk. It was very easy to assemble but as others have mentioned the casters require quite a bit of pressure to put in. I wouldn't recommend using a hammer to pound them in as I think the plastic roller would break. I just put some WD40 on a piece of cotton and rubbed the metal part of the caster and most went in pretty easy with some pressure. If this is a style of chair you are looking for I don't think you will be disappointed.

Great chair

This chair is just what my 10 yr. old granddaughter wanted her bunk bed desk area.
Thanks to a review I read I choose the white (not antique white) and it matched perfectly. Thanks for the tip!

This chair was perfect for my 10 yrgranddaughter

Love this chair!   Sturdy, comfortable  and well built.  Ivory color is exactly what I wanted ( color of French vanilla ice cream)!  Easy to put together.  I used a Q-tip &  and put a little cooking oil on the base & casters and they popped right in.

Great chair for the $

This chair exceeded my expectations! It is very solid and seems like high-quality. It's heavier than expected. As another reviewer noted, the color is not exactly antique white,  but a more creamy yellow like a stick of butter which I liked. The casters are indeed very difficult to insert. I ended up using Vaseline and a rubber mallet and a lot of muscle! I was able to do it by myself though.  I wouldn't be surprised to see a chair like this at Pottery Barn but the Walmart price is so much better. Highly recommend.

Pretty color, solid construction

I put this chair together myself. I had read that the caster's were very difficult to install, and when I tried to get the first one to pop in, I could see they had a point. I tried all casters in all holes and couldn't get one to go in. I'm not very strong, so I thought this was a lost cause. But I was not going to admit defeat so easily! I was tempted to use a hammer but that would only break the plastic caster.

I got some oil and a q-tip and a big wrench and snapped all the casters into place in a flash.
1) I lubed all the holes and caster stems with oil. The only oil I had was olive oil and that worked just fine.
2) Inspect the C ring on the end of the stem. Placed the caster on top of the hole. Lined up the wheel so that the big grove is lined up with the opening on the c-ring on the caster.
3) Lay the wrench in the grove . Then I apply pressure on the wrench. First on the end that pointed towards the side of the C that was closed, then added pressure towards the side of the C that was open. Pop. It was in place.

The 5 casters took less than two minutes, after struggling with one of them for a good half hour!

Casters are tricky

I bought this chair for my daughter's desk and although it is nice, it is huge! The seat is much wider than I expected... But she loves it!
The chair is sturdy and seems strong, but putting the chair together was tedious... The casters took me almost an hour to put in. I had to use Some grease to wiggle them in. After that first step, the rest was a easy.

Nice and sturdy but bigger than expected

I love the look and quality of this chair. I shopped around and found this to be the most reasonably priced. The only reason I didn't give all 5 stars is the casters were extremely hard to get on. After I worked up a sweat putting the wheels on the rest was smooth sailing.

Very nice chair!

Bought this chair to fit out roll top desk. It fit just right in the spot. But assembly was horrible. You could tell it wasnt tested to make sure all the holes lined up in the factory. The 3 holes that hold on the back of the chair didn't line up at all. So I had to get each bolt started by about 1 thread then slowly tighten each one after I completed tightening the back you could see where it had separated some being pulled apart by the holes not being properly alinged. Also the wheels were a pain to get inserted on the the bottom. It took several attempts and a mallet to pound them in. In the end it gets the job done and it's what I was looking for to fit my desk. I wouldvery exchanged it but assembly was so tough I decided to just deal with the minor imperfections.

It's ok

A birthday present for my daughter that was disappointing. Ordered ship to store, picked up and found base cracked. Returned and reordered, picked up and found the second one cracked on the seat. Disappointed daughter... Waste of time... What a hassle. I would not recommend this product... Not sure if poor workmanship or poor packaging to protect the product.
