A tasty and impressive meal

I just use this product today and I thought it was just fine. It was my first time making fajitas and I really like the seasoning. I didn't have any problems at all and I thought it made my meal taste very authentic. I also don't understand why there are so many bad reviews.

I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad for this. I think it tastes most like chili's fajitas that I've tried so I'm a fan. And yes it is white because it's mostly thickener and that is white LOL. The seasoning proportion is too small to make it a color. Just thought I'd clear that up because in this case the color is a strange thing to negatively review it for. I also didn't notice a chemical taste and I'm pretty sensitive to that. If you're going to add extra veggies though, you need 2 packets otherwise it'd very bland

It's fine

I uses these fajita packets to spice up my homemade chicken fajita bowls for meal prep.  The flavor is good, not spicy, and not too salty.  The packets are cheap and affordable, especially when on sale for the three for $5.00 deal.  One packet goes a long way.  Also works well if you mix in a packet with minute rice to make a quick, easy mexican flavored rice.

Great for tacos, fajitas, bowls.

Your fajita seasoning is unbelievably horrible. If it's nothing but corn starch, it turns gelatinous in a pan and I can't believe some kind of quality department actually decided this should be sold.

Do you taste your products?

I have tried this many times in hopes it gets better and it doesn't. No longer. It is not normal that it creates a gloopy sticky residue instead of just seasoning it. Very disappointed

Old El Paso

I made fajitas tonight and made them exactly as instructed.  Used this brand of mix on and off for years.  Well no more.  It was like pure corn starch and little to no flavor.   I had to strain out the ingredients and re-cook everything in a wok.  Has Old El Paso changed the ingredients?   Absolutely gross.  I hope your in-house chefs or product development team addresses this.

Tasted like Corn Starch

After having this seasoning ruin a pan of chicken, peppers, and onions I came online to see if I was alone in having the seasoning congeal.  "Gloppy", "Goop", "gel", and ""jelly" were all used in other reviews from as far back as two years to as recently as a month or two ago.  I'd describe it as congealed slime. It was disgusting.  Tossed the entire pan.  Going to toss the other 3 packets I purchased as well. Not out of date.  It is a known problem. Shame on Old El Paso for not correcting this issue.

Get ready to ruin your meal

I just finished making burrito bowls for dinner using this seasoning. Unfortunately, the chicken/pepper/onion mix that was cooked with the seasoning now has a chemical smell and taste. I'm not sure if it's the corn starch I'm tasting? I'm don't think my family is going to want to eat the dish, and I hate to see good ingredients going to waste. Won't be buying again.

So disappointing! I have used their Chili packets for years, so I thought I'd try this one - awful! I'll never buy it again
