The sauce is great - been using it for years! I agree with other reviewers that the bottle is AWFUL. It's very, very hard to squeeze and when it finally comes out, it's too much all in one spot. I have to use both hands to squeeze it. Kind of painful when you have arthritis. I'm honestly surprised it made it past any kind of testing or quality checks. I hope you will do something to improve the bottle. It needs to be a softer plastic.

5 stars for the taste!!  Can't eat a taco without it!  Only reason for loss of stars is that the new bottle is almost impossible to squeeze!  Had to pour the sauce in a bowl and have the kids use a spoon which of course left a lot of wasted sauce.

Great taste, poor packaging!

The product in the bottle is fantastic. How ever squeezing the bottle is near impossible. The plastic is too hard. we resorted to opening the lid and spooning it on.

A couple month ago I went to do my groceries and I had to buy 2 to 3 bottles of Old El Paso taco sauce, surprised by the new bigger plastic squeezable bottle.  So instead bought just 1 to test.  When I was to use it, well it is not squeezable. You need to apply a lot of force to get some out.  I don't know who decided to call this hard plastic bottle "squeezable" It is not!. Also price went up.  I just can imagine somebody that cannot apply the force to squeeze it will be opening the cap and use it that way. So the packing in this case is a waste of money and resources.

Lack of real research will end in problems

Not the Old El Paso sauce I bought for decades. Taste like Ortega taco sauce now and has the same texture too.. At least Ortega still uses glass for the container. This Old El Paso taco sauce looks like the result of corporate trying to cut expenses...  cheap sauce in a smaller, cheaper container.

Absolutely Horrible

My grandmother introduced our family to this brand decades ago, unfortunately it's not the same. Very difficult to find in local stores so the past few times I purchased online. Plus the packaging isn't easy to use & the bold flavor isn't there anymore. Hard to explain but the comparison is like going from drinking ice cold water out of a glass to now drinking from a plastic cup. Please go back to what the product use to be.

Why the change?

How are you supposed to get it out of the bottle?! I bought it twice thinking that I just got a bad bottle. Tastes good but not worth the hassle! Let us know when you get a great squeeze bottle.

Improve the bottle. Keep customers

I am trying to locate a place where I can get the 16 oz jars of the mild Old El Paso Taco Sauce.  That is the only size and packaging that I want.  If I can not locate this size I am going to have to start making my own version from scratch.  Please bring this product back.  It appears that most people are seriously disappointed in your new packaging and size.  Making this kind of change is a sure way to lose customers!!  Please let me know where I can still get this product.

Disappointing; no longer the greatest Taco Sauce!!

I used to pour Old El Paso Mild sauce all over my tacos. The recipe has changed, or maybe it's the new container, but I don't like the new. First, most of the stores I shop at no longer stock Old El Paso sauce. And even if I can find it to buy, the plastic container is terrible. I have to unscrew the lid to get any sauce out. Please bring back the old jars with the original recipe. The new and improved is not an improvement.

New sauce and container are lacking

I have been looking for Old El Paso taco sauce for sometime.  Stores that I shop that carry your products do not carry your taco sauce.  I really like the sauce.  However, reading customer reviews about your new packaging, I have to agree.  It's harder to use and smaller in size.  Now, I don't know the situation why El Paso changed.  I would guess economics and recycling ability.  It's all plastic now vs a steel lid and and glass jar.  If it is a number 5 plastic, I can't recycle that in my area.  It is not accepted so I have to dispose of it in a landfill or burn it.  I am all for recycling.  Am I helping the environment? I don't feel I am with your current packaging.  I can recycle glass and steel easier.  Glass and steel was “green” before recycling any kind of plastic ever was.  Glass milk bottles were once returned to be washed and reused.  I understand you can't reuse your jar over.

Making the bottle more arthritis user friendly is a good thing and that's great.  But, I think whoever in the marketing department that came up with the new bottle was not thinking and working for the greater good of the Old El Paso brand as a whole. I hope the packaging changes so I can continue to use such quality products.  I recommend the sauce, not the current packaging. Thank you.
