I am so upset as I cannot locate any of my beloved El Paso mild taco sauce.   We were able to purchase it for several months and now there has not been any in the 3 stores where it is sold for months.   This sauce is used on everything I eat…well tacos, nachos, breakfast, etc.    Just my go to sauce…it has actually replaced ketchup in my world which is saying a lot!

I also love the new packaging.

Is there anyplace on line I can purchase my golden sauce?

The sauce is great - been using it for years! I agree with other reviewers that the bottle is AWFUL. It's very, very hard to squeeze and when it finally comes out, it's too much all in one spot. I have to use both hands to squeeze it. Kind of painful when you have arthritis. I'm honestly surprised it made it past any kind of testing or quality checks. I hope you will do something to improve the bottle. It needs to be a softer plastic.

New Taco Sauce "Squeeze" Bottle

5 stars for the taste!!  Can't eat a taco without it!  Only reason for loss of stars is that the new bottle is almost impossible to squeeze!  Had to pour the sauce in a bowl and have the kids use a spoon which of course left a lot of wasted sauce.

Great taste, poor packaging!

The product in the bottle is fantastic. How ever squeezing the bottle is near impossible. The plastic is too hard. we resorted to opening the lid and spooning it on.

The bottle is EXTREMELY difficult to squeeze and this will prevent me from buying the product again.  I guess you could shake the bottle and shake the sauce all over the place.  Come on Old El Paso, is this the best your container design people can do?  Study some ergonomics!

Like Sauce, Hate Bottle

My grandmother introduced our family to this brand decades ago, unfortunately it's not the same. Very difficult to find in local stores so the past few times I purchased online. Plus the packaging isn't easy to use & the bold flavor isn't there anymore. Hard to explain but the comparison is like going from drinking ice cold water out of a glass to now drinking from a plastic cup. Please go back to what the product use to be.

Why the change?

How are you supposed to get it out of the bottle?! I bought it twice thinking that I just got a bad bottle. Tastes good but not worth the hassle! Let us know when you get a great squeeze bottle.

Improve the bottle. Keep customers

This is not the taco sauce that I loved for years. As far as I am concerned, it is just another Taco Bell sauce. I do not taste much difference. I should have known that this was not the sauce that I remembered when you squirt it out of a bottle. I liked the texture of the old version which was not just a liquid but had pieces to tomato, etc. in it. I loved the El Paso Taco Sauce in the jar. It had good flavor and texture. Please bring back the old recipe. This new product is not worth buying and I will not buy any more.

Old El Paso Mild Taco Sauce

I've been using the Mild Taco Sauce for as long as I can remember. Was very impressed that the glass jar is not available anymore. A squirt bottle is what's available. I have arthritis and it shows badly on my hands. Squeezing the bottle is out of the question for me so I resort to take the cap off and start banging hoping it comes out. Plus, the plastic bottle only carries 9oz instead of the 16oz the glass jar did. I guess making the bottle more arthritis user friendly will bring me back to use your products again. Whoever in the marketing team came up with this surely is not working for the greater good of the Old El Paso brand as a whole. Hope the packaging changes in the future so I can continue to use such quality products.

Great sauce, not so great new packaging

I have been looking for Old El Paso taco sauce for sometime.  Stores that I shop that carry your products do not carry your taco sauce.  I really like the sauce.  However, reading customer reviews about your new packaging, I have to agree.  It's harder to use and smaller in size.  Now, I don't know the situation why El Paso changed.  I would guess economics and recycling ability.  It's all plastic now vs a steel lid and and glass jar.  If it is a number 5 plastic, I can't recycle that in my area.  It is not accepted so I have to dispose of it in a landfill or burn it.  I am all for recycling.  Am I helping the environment? I don't feel I am with your current packaging.  I can recycle glass and steel easier.  Glass and steel was “green” before recycling any kind of plastic ever was.  Glass milk bottles were once returned to be washed and reused.  I understand you can't reuse your jar over.

Making the bottle more arthritis user friendly is a good thing and that's great.  But, I think whoever in the marketing department that came up with the new bottle was not thinking and working for the greater good of the Old El Paso brand as a whole. I hope the packaging changes so I can continue to use such quality products.  I recommend the sauce, not the current packaging. Thank you.
