We like the sauce but it sure would be nice if you put it in a bottle you can actually squeeze. Absolutely ridiculous how hard the plastic is. Obviously you guys don't use the stuff.

I have used the taco sauce on a weekly basis for 20+ years as an adult. My mom used it before that. I hate the new plastic bottle. We get less and it costs more (even before the pandemic supply 
issues). I have tried others because I can't find old el paso and none of them taste right. Please bring back the glass jars!

Love the sauce, hate the plastic

My 13 year old buddy LOVES the OP Taco Sauce. This issue is not with the product itself but with the packaging. The plastic container is so stiff and thick that it is nearly impossible for young and old hands to squeeze. Convene a panel of consumers of varying ages and condict some packaging testing. It is so difficult to use that I actually took time to write this review.

Taco Sauce Packaging

Wish I could give a 5 star rating.  My family has been using this sauce at least 30 years.  It is what brings the meal together on taco nights.  Unfortunately, we will have to move on to another brand.  The bottle is smaller for a comparable price, too difficult to squeeze and provides an inconsistent amount.  Nothing about this was an improvement.

Bring back the jar shape!

Love, love, love the sauce and have used weekly for many years when it came in a glass jar.  Now, it comes in a super hard plastic bottle that I can not squeeze.  Please out sauce back in glass jars!
The other issue I have is using “plastic” which is not an environmental / eco friendly thing to do for any reason!

Please bring back the bottle and you will have a customer for life! Only gave it a 2 because of the new packaging. Before it would have been a 5 all the way. Same as recommending to a friend, I wouldn't now.

Really Missing the Bottle

Unfortunately the new Taco Sauce recipe is awful compared to the much smoother old recipe. It is much too thick, like a salsa and too much tomato.
It was my favourite condiment for my tacos, nachos, etc.
Please, please change back.
As for the difference in packaging type that doesn't worry me in the least

New Taco Sauce recipie is horrible

With all the other complaints aside the worst for me is the taste and texture. You have ruined something that was delicious and didn't need to be messed with. Can't say I will ever buy this again.

Taste/Texture

My family has used this product for as long as I can remember. I'm 35 and have enjoyed my fathers tacos since I was 7 or 8 (or at least that's when I started remembering them lol). 
This new jar and presentation has definitely taken away from the product, different ingredients or not...   It's also less readily available and fewer stores seem to be carrying it.
Please bring back my childhood!

Old El Paso

I have used Old El Paso taco sauce for over 40 years. First, you take it off the shelves completely, then you come out with smaller squeeze bottles. I'm very disappointed with the new packaging. Don't know if it's the packaging or the recipe but it just doesn't taste the same. Please bring back the bottle and you will have a customer for life! Only gave it a 1 because of the new packaging, smaller size, same price , different taste. Before it would have been a 5 all the way. Same as recommending to a friend, I wouldn't now. What happened to this company??? It breaks my heart and makes me angry.
