I am a mechanic so I may have oil or grease in my hair from working but it always cleans it without any effort. it smells great as well.

It also feels great and left my hair feeling clean / prepped for the conditioner. I would definitely use this again and recommend to others. You can't go wrong with this line from Old Spice.

It didn't leave my hair feeling too dry it didn't leave my hair feeling too moist ,it was a perfect combination between moist and dry I had no itching or dry scalp what's so ever nor did I have greasy moist air the shampoo is by far one of my favorite shampoos if not my favorite shampoo of all time and I'm so glad that the developers are Old Spice chose me to test this out

I have long curly wavy hair and I can tell from the first time after trying a new hair product if I'm gonna like it. It hydrates so gooddddd and the smell...Bishh! Can't really explain it but it's cooling and refreshing scent. Leaves my hair ￼not frizzy but hydrated and soft. I can imagine men and women having this cuz the smell is so good *deep snifffff*

I keep huffing the bottle...is that bad?

But if I shower at night I wake up with my hair a little greasy, unlike the shampoo that I currently use that is a little more expensive. Overall for the price I think this is a good shampoo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Shampoo is great at first I was skeptical about the smell but then it soon started to grow on me it gives me a floral almost fruity smell. Im sure this shampoo should work perfectly on a oily scalp.

Had me in the first half but I LOVE IT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Old Spice products and have been using them since I can remember. However, I don't think I've ever used an Old Spice shampoo before so this was nice to be able to try it out. My initial thoughts includes: 1) Nice consistency, 2) Okay lather; had to use a little bit more than normal to feel it lather my entire head, 3) The smell of shea butter was nice in the shower and smelled sweet and not overpowering, 4) Was not able to see all ingredients so can't judge the product by how environmentally impactful it is, 5) A while after my hair had dried the smell of shea butter became a little bit more strong and apparent; this I did not exactly like, as it got a little bit too strong after a while, 6) My hair looks more dried out than normal after using the shampoo.

So, overall impressions are mainly positive, but there are a few cons that may be deal breakers for me. I know it is formulated with shea butter, and it might come down to preference, but I wasn't really keen on the aftersmell that lingered after the shower. Would I buy this product? Probably not. I do have some family members who love shea butter so I would recommend it to others to try for themselves. I would say so far it doesn't really stand out from other products and brands of competitors. There were just a few things missing that my normal routine shampoos provided that this one didn't. I will however continue using the rest of the sample and see how well it does. I was hoping for it to make my hair and scalp feel less dry and more hydrated but I am not seeing that yet. Would suggest maybe finding a way to tone down the smell, or maybe add some other scents to it - maybe something more fruity to balance it out. Would also formulate to maybe clean a little better and provide a stronger lather (I know more suds doesn't always mean cleaner) but I just couldn't feel it in my hair and had to keep adding more to feel clean. Good attempt, but I believe this product could be improved.

Not Bad, However Not the Best

I do not recommend this product because first of all, it has sodium laureth sulfate and sodium lauryl sulfate, which are the worst type of sulfates to put in your hair. Second, it has dimethiconol, which traps dirt and grime in your hair and doesn't clean your scalp. Third, it has artificial fragrances, which irritate the scalp and its not good.
