I am the big bertha comment.  I am still playing my callaway, but hit the stratos 5 iron and PW two days ago.  I occasionally push or pull my bertha's, but the 10 to 15 shots with the orlimar stratos (with the heat shrink plastic still on since I don't have headcovers yet) were all within the width of the green.  The 5 iron was 10 - 15 yards longer than my callaway 5.  I think hybrids give you confidence you're going to make a solid strike
