The Otterbox fix comfortably in my hand, and the light color makes it more visible in my bag. I always buy Defender cases for my phone.  Among other things, I train horses and work in a barn.  I can't tell you how many times my phone as fallen out of my pocket while I'm schooling a horse in the arena or gets dropped on the cement floor of the tack room.  My phone is always wonderfully protected by my Otterbox Defender case.  Other friends (who use other cases or--gasp!--no case) have phones with cracked screens, but not me!

Great case!

I dropped my IPhone 5 18' onto concrete. My phone and case were intact. Why wouldn't I put a Otter Box on my new iPhone 7

Met expectations

Great fit. A little tight at first but seals well.
Good protection for phone (case and screen).
The control buttons (volume and power) are stiff at first and require deliberate activation. They do loosen up a bit over time.

Replacement Defender case for iPhone 7

Great, solid case.  Had one for the SE 1st Gen that served me well, bought another for my 3rd Gen and still my favorite case.  But the opening around the camera/ear speaker doesn't seal 100% and let's dirt between the screen and screen cover on this version.

Another Solid Defender Case

The case is wonderfully designed—a hard encasing skeleton and then silicone around the edges—but those very features do not keep even a drop of water from getting through to the phone. Luckily, the iPhone is designed to be not just splash but waterproof, but it is nonetheless something that the user should know and keep in mind.

Is It Waterproof or Splash Proof? No

I've been using Defender cases on my iPhones for the last 5 years.  From my 4s to my 6 plus and now on my iPhone 7.  After people kept telling me they could hardly hear me on my new iPhone 7 (with Defender case installed), and they weren't very loud on my end either,  I proceeded to take a utility knife and cut off the bottom rubber of the case which was covering the mic and speakers (I could see a lot of excess rubber that was partially covering both speakers and apparently the mic too.  Presto!, the sound quality on both ends then was normal.  I am disappointed that the designers of the case for the iPhone 7 didn't pick up the obvious sound quality issue.  Love the cases protection for my phone, not happy that I had to make my own modification to make it usable.

Muffles mic & speakers

I love the case for my phone's protection!  I just wish I would have gotten a darker color.  I ordered the teal color and it gets dirty fast and I can't keep it clean.

Get a dark color!

I just received this.  The case is as expected, but the screen is cheap, does not fit to the screen well, and makes using the iPhone difficult to use.  I had used the Lifeproof cases before, and they have a much better screen/phone interface.

Terrible Screen

I will be replacing it. Very difficult, in fact physically painful  to push side buttons through this case with SE3 unlike my defender otter box for IPhone 6.
