I first purchased an iPhone 5s and now have upgraded to an iPhone 7. I did quite a bit of shopping before I bought a case. I work in a body shop and things do happen but my OtterBox phone cases  have kept my phones  perfect! In fact when I went to trade in my  phone the young lady at the counter and I almost had to break the OtterBox case to get it off. That case is indestructible and I wouldn't trust my investment to any other. Thank you OtterBox!

Only phone case I've ever purchased

The Otterbox Defender series is the best phone case on the market. Its the only case that makes me feel comfortable using my phone. I had an iphone 5s for 3 years with an Otterbox case, and there wasn't a single scratch on it. Absolutely pristine condition. I dropped it plenty of times. The best!

Best phone case out there.

Great for the money.  But the rubber case doesn't hold up  thepices you have to open to charge the phone and to mute the ringtone only last about 6 months

Fits perfect but is not specific for the SE model. There is a window on the back of the case for the Apple logos that were on the older "7" and "8" models. The new SE does not have the logo so it looks like I have the wrong case for the phone! Oh well!

Does the job for iPhone SE model

I've been using Defender cases on my iPhones for the last 5 years.  From my 4s to my 6 plus and now on my iPhone 7.  After people kept telling me they could hardly hear me on my new iPhone 7 (with Defender case installed), and they weren't very loud on my end either,  I proceeded to take a utility knife and cut off the bottom rubber of the case which was covering the mic and speakers (I could see a lot of excess rubber that was partially covering both speakers and apparently the mic too.  Presto!, the sound quality on both ends then was normal.  I am disappointed that the designers of the case for the iPhone 7 didn't pick up the obvious sound quality issue.  Love the cases protection for my phone, not happy that I had to make my own modification to make it usable.

Muffles mic & speakers

I bought this case as said was dust proof which couldn't be further from the truth as got big hole for speaker at top of case also at the camera and speakers at bottom. i understand that the iphone 7 is water and dust proof but this lets all dust and bits in which will eventually end up scratching phone and means i have to keep taking apart to clean out. In my eyes false advertising other than that its a good case

Dust

I always buy otterbox, my phones always survive things they really shouldn't in them, so they are great that way. I only find that the phone still gets fine material trapped between the screen and cover and I need to take it apart and clean it pretty often under the case , Which is pretty irritating and stretches the case wrap over time . Problems aside , i buy otterbox as I know my phone will survive the rough usage it sometimes gets.

Durable phone protection

Protects the phone but it hasn't even been a week and the rubber part of the case stains easily. And it just won't come off. No point of buying a new case if it's just gonna look old and used after a weeks use. (Got the case same day I got my iPhone 7) DONT BUY LIGHT COLORED CASES

Eh. Probably not worth all the money

Unfortunately, the screen protector of my case does not seem to be flush on the screen of my phone and makes it very difficult to type on. Also, I got the Borealis colour of the case and in less than a week it looks very dirty. Love Otterbox products but this particular case was not great for me.

Love Otterbox, not this case

Much lower quality than previous OtterBox cases.  The hard plastic is cheaper and the mold isn't flush against my phone edges, especially at the home button.  As a result it catches on things including my thumbs.  The soft part of the case was also cheaper and could clearly see deformities from the molding process.  Also the charging/earbud port flap is already ripping off less than a month of use.  Makes me nervous about the over all claims that OtterBox says about the shock resistance and if it can actually effectively protect my phone like previous OtterBox cases again.

Not the same quantity.  OtterBox in name only.
