Great case as far as thickness, sturdiness, etc. really the only downside, which I think is a big one, is the inch+ of unprotected edge near the camera button. I understand not wanting to cover the button, but nothing on one of the cases advertised as being most protective?

I like the case and looks of the case so far.  What I don't like is the design on the back of my case, High Desert, already has 2 nicks in it from just carrying the case in the pocket.

The durability of the nice design is lacking in quality.  I think a person would be better off just buying the case with a clear back, buying a different brand, or understanding that you're case is going to look beat up even if you never drop it.

Good Case, but questionable quality of graphics

I find it harder or tricker to put the phone in the case and lock it in.  Also the entire clip came off my belt, the phone came out and hit the pavement, the case hit the pavement.  Luckily no damage to either one.  Not sure I really like the slim iPhone 16 Pro Max Defenfer Series Prop XT Case with MagSafe.

I honestly like the case, my only issue is the cutout for the new camera button.  It is way too easy for it to hit an edge and crack the screen, which is exactly what happens to my wife's new phone.  If it wasn't for me purchasing a separate tempered glass protector it would have been a big problem.  I've owned countless OtterBox cases for my iPhones over the years but this part of the design on this case seems flawed to me.

I rely on OtterBox to provide complete protection for my handsets. I've been using otter boxes since the iPhone 4s.
I am at a loss with their decision not to have the case wrap around the complete perimeter of the phone. Currently, near the camera button, there is an exposed 2” edge where the screen meets with the metal frame. Even with a screen protector, this is a very vulnerable edge that is not protected. I may have to look at other brands for the meantime and hope that OtterBox might revise the case design of the 16pro max.

Would not buy again

I normally love otterbox cases. This one fell short for me. I understand the reason for the cutout around the camera button, it leaves the the whole area around the button too exposed. The entire reason I go for otterbox cases is to protect my entire phone, not MOST of my
Phone.

Missing Otterbox peotection

Ever since I switched to iPhone I have always got an otterbox. This one really disappointed me with the fact that they left part of the screen unprotected because of the new touch pad. I really wish they would change this design and put the trim piece all the way around like it has been to protect the phone beside making it comfortable to hold because this case is not it unfortunately.

It's not a case for the new iPhone.

Quickly became discolored. While it is sturdy, the overall look is very dusty and gross. I'd recommend only going for the darker color. I was excited about the purple and thought it looked nice, but even attempts to clean the rubber aren't making it look any less gross. I haven't even had it for a month and I already don't want to keep carrying it.

Camera control cutout is such a lazy design and leaves my phone completely unprotected in that area which is not what I pay otter box prices for. Also the rubber on parameter of phone is stained very easy. Case already looks terrible after a week of use and no way to clean off the staining.

Do not buy.

I love this case but sad that the part where the camera button is doesn't have protection on the edge of the phone.

Love but one thing….
