I haven't had an OtterBox defender since my iPhone 5c (a LONG time) because they were so bulky and big. So for years I decide to always go with a cheaper, less durable case that I could find at any store. Because of this, I always had a crack phone. I recently purchase a new one and decided to try out the new style of defender. I was pleasantly surprised at how much slimmer the case is with losing the durably needed to protect my phone. This will be my go to case from now on.

The case works well, however, I'm used to the older style Defender case with screen cover and thick rubber all around.  This case isn't quite as rugged as the previous Defenders.  It seems to do the job but you'll have to be more careful if you're used to the older ones.

Works great. Have droppped my phone and it survived multiple times. Really like the feel and texture of the case! Will buy again! Absolutely love it!

Awesome product's

The best protection against any kind of damage. My iPad got crushed between sofa recliner and despite having to replace the device, I was able to transfer all information into the new one and reuse the same OtterBox cover.

OtterBox is a worthy buy for damage protection.

Great protection on the phone. It is slick with good protection on the phone. highly recommend for anyone looking for a great Otterbox and protection for the phone.

Great Protection for Iphone 16e

Nice phone case. Small improvements would include more recessed area to flip silent switch which is very difficult. Also would build up rubber border on camera side to make phone set flat without rocking. Lastly the power button is a little more mushy then a solid click.

Nice solid case, could be better

Not as good as previous OtterBox cases I have owned. They charge a higher price for the newer model phones and if you have last year‘s model, you can buy a case for about 1/3 of the price. I see how it works now I may not Limit my purchase Considerations to OtterBox in the future

Prices too high

Cute and sleek looking but not durable. Corners are already coming undone, doesn't work well with the screen protectors, tried multiple kinds and they all crack or lift.

Great but not for us

We bought the new iPhone 16e on launch day and bought this case.  However, the opening for the camera is sized for the larger iPhone 15/16.  It is oversized for the single-camera 16e.  If you're looking for a case specifically designed for the 16e, look elsewhere.  I ended up buying smoother case specifically designed for the 16e and was much happier. Too bad I bought this one too.
