Tastes good

At first, the aroma was strange and sort of smelled like pot or something but it has excellent flavour. The bergamot is really strong. You can let it steep forever and it doesn't go bitter. Stocking up while it's on sale!

Didn't taste good

I have bought this tea for the last couple of years and loved it. However about 4 months ago i opened a bag a the smell was much different than the previous box and the bags had a touch of green on them. They taste horrible now. At one time this was one of my favourite brands of earl grey. 
I have bought 2 more boxes since and they have been the same weird taste. I will NOT be buying this anymore.

Tastes weird now

I bought this 2 weeks ago. It doesn't smell or taste like Twining. It smells more like wacky-tobacc'y than earl grey.

No bergamot smell or flavour, the smell is actually acid/tinny, produced a very strong beverage with little dunking and dipping and not drinkable
Get what you pay for is the way it is, but at least other cheap brands are drinkable, this was pour it down the drain and throw the rest away  stuff

Awful stuff

This tea tastes and smells nothing like Earl Grey.
It smells and tastes like a barnyard, its gross.
Two of my coworkers agree with me and said the same thing. 
Don't buy this tea unless you like drinking smelly flavourless water.

Disgusting - tastes like the smell of a barnyard

Opened the packet and immediately was weirded out. It didn't have that floral/citrus smell I was looking for at all! Very disappointed. The other commenters are right... It's pretty bad and has a strange smell, bad taste. It's basically just black tea with a weird smell. Not what I was looking for. I bought two boxes - definitely returning the unopened one.

Black Tea > Earl Grey

I used to love this stuff before it was reformulated. I loved it because it was a very nice dark earl grey that didn't go heavy on the citrus. After the reformulation I can't drink this anymore. 
I shall start a journey to find an earl grey that tastes how this used to.

I miss old earl grey
