Really easy to assemble by 2 persons . The only problem i have with it is when it's windy the top does not stay open .i had to add some straps with hooks so we can enjoy the shade

I purchased this pergola to put on a deck where I have a hammock area. It looks great, gives good shade and it's quite sturdy as it has gone thru a few wind storms! Fairly easy to assemble with 2 people. It arrived quickly and was well packaged for shipping. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Easiest with 2 people for some of the setup, but I was able to do it by myself by using some ‘Macgyver' techniques. As described. Good price, good directions, fast delivery

We have only had the sunshade for a little over a week. The sunshade is used on our back west facing deck deck and is effective at blocking out the afternoon sun. Even fully extended the shade hangs down. Make allowances for doorways. We keep our 3/4 extended to allow for the patio doors to swing out. There seems to be a backstop at one end of the center piece that hangs down about 6 inches. it is not shown on the diagram or the illustration. It's purpose is unknown. We moved it to the outside edge of the patio, again because we needed the patio doors to swing out. It would have been wonderful if it came with a pull down side shade. It appears well designed and sturdy. The legs have a plate for anchoring and a cover to hide the screws. It was easy to assemble.

Instructions should have a bit more detail like left and right, front and back. Also why 6 rollers when there's only 5 fold.

Its ok. Was not a delight to put together, and I do not have high hopes of it lasting. Screws are very cheap as well as the metal.

it is mot top quality compared to a solid gazebo but for what it does is totally fine i am happy with the purchase for the price and as long as you retract the cover when not in use its perfectly fine it did not take long to assemble with 1 knowledgeable person so definitely a thumbs up

it does what it should do

Flimsy, cheap, material. Poorly constructed. It took us an entire day to assemble this because the instructions are unclear. Also, some of the pieces do not even fit together properly! Such as the rods that hold up the canopy. It took me and my husband using all of our strength to get the rods together. Once it was assembled, we went to “open” the canopy since it is supposed to be a retractable canopy, and it was SO HARD to open. We both had to move the canopy together to get any movement. Then we woke up this morning to half of the wheels for the canopy too having fallen off the track. They don't stay in, and it wasn't that windy last night. And so my husband used pliers to try and ply the track together to make the wheels stay in the track, and that damaged the metal finish, and the wheels are still falling out. I contacted the manufacturer to ask for a resolution, and my options were to a)return the pergola which was not going to happen because it took HOURS for the two of us to assemble and there's no way we can take it all apart to fit in a tiny box. B) let them know which parts we needed, which I replied I have no idea because the whole thing seems poorly made and defective. Or c) they would issue a partial refund of $45 for someone to fix locally. Who on earth am I going to find to fix this locally and also for $45!? Seriously save yourself frustration and time and do not purchase this garbage.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!
