i got the awning installed and working great. i had to install to wood studs so i got carriage bolts for wood. also there's a small button on the back of the remote you push once right after you plug in the awning. this i needed to sync the remote. overall a great awning with a great price.

This is a good product for the price. Did not disappoint. It is challenging to assemble, and requires 2 to put up. The remote works perfectly. We built a weatherproof box to cover the motor, in case of heavy rains, snow or ice. Also did NOT add the frill at
the end this makes a more modern & contemporary look. Wud buy again!

I wasn't sure about ordering something like this off Aosom however, I would highly recommend it easy to install with two people great quality and I'm already thinking of ordering another one for the front of the house for next year A++++

GREAT AWNING FOR THE PRICE, DIRECTIONS COULD BE WRITTEN BETTER. PACKAGING NEEDS TO BE BETTER, A COUPLE OF DENTS MADE PUTTING IT TOGETHER A BIT CHALLENGING. SO FAR IS WORKING GREAT.

PACKAGING NEEDS TO BE BETTER

Very GOOD

This product is intended to be mounted to a building and extends out with an electric motor. Nice smooth and very quiet. The remote control is very sleek and has a function to stop it mid travel either in or going out there are limits cruise. You have to be careful on the Justine, because the motor does have enough torque to rip the thing apart.
I recommend taking it down during the rainy months to prevent rotting.

They are seasonal and not eazy to get

Excellent product, easy instructions to follow and install. A little more clarification on how the end product should look like, inside and outside, would have been icing on the top.

10x8 awning - product review

Instead if sending cement anchors, there should be a fastener for wood as well. Had to go buy lag screws in order to install. Instructions are poorly written and illustrations hard to interpret.
