Chair quite comfortable and useful with the reading hole. You can put the cushion on the hole if you lie on your back. For the price it is very good!

i did not request additional protection on it but i had to pay for it anyway

I was excited to try this chair, but I ended up disappointed. It seems reasonably sturdy, but the overall quality feels cheap. The stitching is uneven, with loose threads and messy finishing in several places, making it look poorly made right out of the box.
The face opening fits my head, but it's too small to comfortably wear glasses while using the chair. If you wear glasses to read or use your phone, that's something to keep in mind.
Another design flaw is that there are no arm openings beneath the face opening. When you're lying face down, there's no comfortable way to position your arms to hold a book, magazine, tablet, or phone. This makes it much less practical for reading than I expected.
Overall, the chair works, but the workmanship and design could definitely be improved.

I purchased this excited for the summer. Unfortunately, the way this was manufactured, it is not very stable when trying to lay flat. The way the chair fastens for sitting up works great, but the peg to stop the backrest from falling to the ground when laying flat misses, and you end up with your head towards the ground. 
Will be returning this item once we are no longer stuck at home.
