Overall I'm content with this purchase but I'm glad I didn't pay full price and purchased it on sale. The aesthetics of the bench are A+ but the quality is a C. The wood is soft and very susceptible to denting easily, so be careful not to bang or ding it when moving it around. The layer of paint is so thin you can almost see the wood surface underneath. I'm thinking of re-painting it so it will protect the wood and hold up better to the weather. Assembly is straight-forward but definitely follow the instructions and don't tighten the screws all the way until the very end to avoid warping. The assembled bench felt sturdy enough but the seat is not comfortable and it's tight for two people to sit on it at the same time - it's about 6 inches shy of typical bench widths. I feel this bench is more of a decorative element for your garden - I don't think it could hold up to a lot of usage without being damaged.
