Patak’s® Butter Chicken Cooking Sauce is Canada’s favorite. This mild and creamy curry sauce is inspired by northern Indian cuisine and has a complex spice blend to bring your authentic curry dish together in just a few minutes.  Pairs well with chicken, prawns, shrimp, salmon, tilapia, cauliflower, paneer, or sweet potato.   Contains milk.  May contain peanuts, tree nuts.  No artificial flavors or colors, gluten free and preservative free.

I enjoyed this sauce over chicken and rice .. it's not to spicy and very tasty.  I would use it on a variety of foods and even vegetables.

Great tasting!

It is not as thick as their Tikka Masala sauce, but still double or even triple the thickness over VH sauces. With their Tikka Masala sauce, opened and turned upside down, it does NOT fall out (unlike what some guy who calls himself a captain claimed). This Butter Chicken sauce somewhat easily poured from the bottle. To use as a simmering sauce, I pour in the full contents of a bottle, fill the emptied bottle with hot water. Cap and shake to remove residue stuck to the sides, then empty that into the saucepan to add volume. Stir thoroughly and continue to simmer. 

The results are stunning and in just 30 minutes we can sit down to eat, or let it simmer longer. The longer it simmers the bettery absorbed the flavours will be. IMO the spicy level is a bit on the weak side and though they use a three chili scale to indicate hotness, they rank this sauce as a 3/3. I'd rank it at a 2/3. It has similar heat as their Tikka Masala sauce and even I find that on the weak side. No matter, a tablespoon of Sriracha added to the simmering brings up the heat level nicely. 

After a minimum of a 30 mins simmering, see for yourself, it's still considered a thick sauce.

for the review 1 star your cluless this is delicious best sauce ever and best part affordable heinz or hp sauce even kraft should sign thos dude women up seriously i used two table spoons with 2 serving rice sausage egg tuna chicken and im protiened up ready to pump yep 👍

Kick it up a notch

The Sauce is very good however when you put it in a paper bag and its pouring rain the bottom falls out of the bag by the time the driver walks up the driveway and the Butter Chicken Sauce ends up broken with the sauce all over the entrance carpet.

Very poor packing.

Absolute must have

Has a decent amount of heat. Not overly spicy hot but I'd say a medium. It was hot enough for my liking. I used this to add to my homemade sauce and it kicked it up a notch. It didn't wow me but was decent enough.

Convenient Butter chicken sauce

Tried the spicy and non-spicy. Both taste good and very creamy. I didn't taste the spiciness though.  Would suffice when I crave for Indian food.

Easy way to give in to your cravings

didnt like. wouldnt get again. terrible choice. go for regular butter chicken or be disappointed
