Love this item.  We get some high winds at times and I didnt want to worry whether my umbrella was going to take a ride!!

Very nice except had a difficult time screwing the cap on. had to trim off the excess plastic. Still difficult!

Good with minor cap problem

The delivered product is just as described. I am very pleased. I like the up to 95 pound capacity weight. Movement should be minimal and when it occurs, it won't be because I didn't think about it or take it into consideration.

Great Description and Product.

as advertised, sufficient for holding umbrella under table

Seemed amazing at first.  Large, heavy (when filled) and appeared solid.  I bought 3 and actually filled 2 with water rather than sand since water is cheaper and more accessible and easy to drain in winter for storage.  The fill cap needed to be trimmed in order to make it water tight and on one I needed to use a cork in addition to the cap.  Nice setup for a few weeks... until the center post seemed to become a little loose.  I tightened it, but it was as tight as possible and it seems that the entire socket that it sits in has stretched a bit making the center post a little wobbly.  Still usable but its only been a few weeks.  I do NOT think it is due to the water fill rather than sand but I will see on the next one which I will fill with sand.

Solid choice, but...

The pole going into base does not stand straight up! It allows umbrella to lean!

The pole that holds umbrella wobbles no matter how tightly secured. Also, it took two days to fill with dry sand. This stand is going to break my high priced umbrella if i keep using it so im going to return it!

I filled with sand and it only weighed 60 pounds. It also is too tall to fit under my table so I cant use it without having to buy a new table

The water cap screwing was faulty and does not go on the unit. Useless purchase. Not sure how I can return.
