Made with sturdy construction to withstand regular use.

I've been shopping around for a catio for a few years and decided on this one. It arrived 2 days after ordering. The instructions were great and I put it together on my own . The catio is a great size for my three cats and the quality is excellent. I would recommend this if you have indoor cats who like the outdoors.

Excellent Quality Catio!

aosom.com

We use this for our 2 cats during the day to be outside under our covered back patio. It's easy to put together - the panel construction makes it manageable for even one person to do. And with a basic drill it goes together really quickly - about an hour or hour-and-a-half. The cedar looks good. We also have another similar Pawhut product we bought a few years ago that has an enclosed area at one end - after several years, a hurricane, and a tropical storm, we took off the enclosed portion of the old one and are now adding it onto this structure to expand it. So far, so good. This structure (and the other older one we have) really saved us from having to rehome our cats due to our child's horrible allergies. The cats like it, jump all around on the platforms, we hung bird feeders nearby for entertainment for them, and let morning glory vine grow up all around it - it's like their own little jungle cave. This is a good product. Really happy with it.

easy construction, sturdy enough

I was able to assemble most of the catio by myself, needed assistance attaching the shelves. I¡¯m using the catio indoors, and I did not use the roofing supplied, I attached vinyl flooring to top of catio so that cats cannot climb up then escape. I used the 2 wood slats to support the vinyl. I placed vinyl flooring under catio for ease of cleaning. This catio is purrrfect for fostering cats and kittens. This might be my best purchase of 2021.

Love my catio

Can't comment on how easy it is to assemble - my mom hired a handyman. It arrived two days SOONER than promised, and appears to be very sturdy. It started snowing the evening after it was assembled, so the cats only got a brief opportunity to check it out, but I think they're going to love it !

Great catio!

This catio has turned out great. The directions were very easy to follow. All the holes were predrilled so that really made it much easier. It took about 1 hour 30 minutes to put together but if you are better at using a drill it would probably go faster. My cats love it. .they can't wait to get out into each day.

My cats love it!

I really like the catio for my cat. I put primer and primer paint on the catio so it would last a long time. We have a lot rain and humidity. Each section of the catio has a letter labeled on the wood to identify each part, before I painted it I took a piece of paper and string and tied to the wire on each section of catio part so I will know what it is before I painted it. I also put a wooden board in the middle of the catio so my cat can lay on her cat pillows. I got the board from the store that they sell damaged wood boards and I got it cheap, then I put heavy construction wood screws and put on both sides of the wooden board and fitted in the middle of the catio so my cat can lay with lots of room up high. The catio was a little flimsy so I used L- brackets to make it sturdier. It takes 2 people to set it up and a power drill. I also wanted some of the platforms to be a little higher and side by side on the top. It wasn't easy to make new holes up but it took some planning and practice. Very important to follow the instructions on installing the catio. I also put plastic roof top on one side of the catio to keep the water off the roof.

I'm glad I got the Outdoor Cat Enclosure Catio Cage!

The cats love it and assembly was straightforward. A couple of parts are challenging with one person, but still very doable and you only need a screw gun and a wrench. You'll need other tools if you do modifications. I removed a section of wire mesh and built an additional shelf to allow window access, and I trimmed the roof panels so it would sit flush against the house. It is a pretty soft wood and certainly not as strong as one you might build yourself, but it smells like a hamster cage, so I'm assuming it's cedar or something similar that will last a while. Four stars because the dimensions are smaller than what's listed here (it's actually about 35" deep x 68" wide) and because the door latches are pretty flimsy.

It's very nearly perfect.

The pricing is the best I could find anywhere for a catio of this size. Assembly took hours to do with just a screwdriver. I would definitely recommend a drill. Some of the numbers on the pieces were upside down so that was a little annoying. The wood is good quality. My biggest compliant with this cage would be the door latches - they could be better. Otherwise, it's a really good catio and it was worth every penny. The cats hated it at first (they didn't like being enclosed) but now they love it!

A good catio with a few flaws

I have 5 cats and they need room to expand but still be safe. I will say for the money it's not a bad product. I had to make some tweaks just to be able to fit my window. Still looking to make more tweaks. But had I gone out and purchase all these items it would take me longer to put this together. My son helped me put this together and we also painted it. For the roof I didn't like the green color so I purchased a spray rubber product in grey color so I'll have to see how that holds up. I'm also going to add some shims to the roof to create that slant needed for water drain off when it rains. I'll probably wait a while for my updates.

Cats are getting used to it.

The instructions are absolutely horrible and the first time it rained the roof boards bowed. Therefore, I had to buy a tarp, rope, and tent stakes to cover it so there wouldn't be any further damage to the almost $400 cage - and that was a sale price! Sure, it's pretty, but some tomato stakes and chicken wire would have served the same purpose and been a lot cheaper too. It was not a smart decision to purchase this.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE!
