I love how they open on the sides too. The door latches do tend to come loose so make sure to keep the screw key so you can tighten it. My ferrets have trouble climbing the ramps so i put fleece over them also. Everything else is great. My furballs love their home and are very happy in it!

Spacious cage that my furbabies love!

Got this cage for our Ferret, it give's her more room and exercise. Modified ramps and floor boards with carpet, to make it easier for her to get around and easier for her to climb the ramp's. Love it!

It's great with few modifications. Easy to assembl

My boys absolutely love there new home and it was very easy to set up I did it by myself  in a half hour

my rats love it

I feel like I shouldn't struggle but I am lol. I keep trying to shove the ramp connector flat against the platform connector and push down, am I doing this wrong?? It won't stay! But yes cage is very spacious, literally gigantic, I just wish it didn't practically force you to separate levels. I modified this a bit by putting 2 solid platforms together then adding a ramp to another (but lower) solid platform, adding another ramp and attaching it to a platform with a hole.

Help! How do I attach ramps?

Love the cage! Perfect size for my 8 rats, but my only complaint is it came to me missing one important part - the latch to the top side door. Now I have to zip tie it closed so my boys don't get out and I have to cut it off every time I want to feed and clean.

Great cage - beware of missing parts

We bought this for a dwarf rabbit. RABBIT is the first animal mentioned in the description. Oh, contraire. The ramps are much to slick, the inclines are too steep, and the holes are too small to maneuver through. She actually fell while trying to get to the top level. Luckily she didn't get hurt. We actually took the upper levels out until we can tweak it more suited to her needs. Well put adhesive felt squares on the platforms for traction, and sanded tape or something of the like on the ramps. 

On the upside, the cage is extremely well built!  There was one latch completely missing though, from one of the side doors that is supposed to be riveted on from the factory (the latch was on the other door).

Paw but is quality product, this cage just wasn't “rabbit” friendly. I see now that most have it for ferrets. That's what I'd call it, a ferret cage.

Almost, But Not Quite!

There are some bent pieces that didn't line up and I have to use a clamp on the bottom to keep the tray from falling off the track. We got it together, and my ferrets love the cage.

this cage is not made for hamsters when i bought it it said small animals an had a hamster on it i had to buy chicken wire to put around the WHOLE cage it was very time consuming other then that its a good sturdy cage

I just got my product delievered today and Im debating on returning it. Im in the process of putting it together and it sounds like there are little grains inside the side bars and my floor is covered in it, I found a couple of spider eggs on the bars, also the paint is chipping off on the bottom of the side bars. I just feel gross putting this together. I was really  taken back because I have read really good reviews on this product but it is not living up to it. I would recommend getting the Fiesty Ferret Home instead, its built with quality, even the bottom tray on this Paw Hut cage is flimsy plastic. Very Dissatisfied.

Dissatisfied and Disgusted

Very hard to put together, holes do not aline,when walls up, landings do not stay in place..had to zip tie them in..now if we want to move things around, we have to cut, and add new ones.. and one of the levers did not have a hole drill as it should have...if this a example of what the cage is...it's not worth the time or the money
