I'm what some might call a sweet treat connoisseur. I don't discriminate and I'll try any saccharine delight handed to me. Peeps have always been a favorite of mine, mostly because I love marshmallows and they are just very cute! So, when I saw these I was very intrigued, but skeptical! I couldn't imagine how it would taste and so when I finally tried it I was stunned. It's marshmallows, obviously. It has not really a rice crispy taste but it's warm and sweet. A nice and somewhat syrupy vanilla flavor? I adore it!

Possibly a new favorite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Marshmallow flavored marshmallows seemed weird,  but I totally get it. They absolutely *do* taste like Rice Krispie Treats, maybe its a hint of butter or extra vanilla, but the taste like the real thing and for that I give it 5 stars. Would I buy them again? Probably not, but for a fun novelty treat it's absolutely worth it.

Tastes like Rice Krispies~!

The texture of these peeps is out of this world! the flavor of these is spectacular, they give... what all peeps SHOULD taste like. like eating a cozy little cloud. can eat two packs  in one sitting. will buy every single year!

I'm not sure what I was expecting, rice crispy treats are made with marshmallows. This is just like a really creamy marshmallow flavor. I liked it, already ordered more. Very similar to the cotton candy flavor.

Tastes like marshmallows

These Rice Krispie treat flavored marshmallow peep chicks, are great tasting, but not overly sweet. I purchased them for my daughter's Easter basket and she absolutely love them. It seems like an interesting flavor so I figured I'd give them a try. The package is generously sized and worth the price for the amount and the quality.

Great Easter flavored Peeps!

They do not taste like a Peep! The taste is more like you are eating a plain marshmallow, not a rice krispy treat!  They don't taste bad at all, just not quite as expected. I have tried many of the new flavors of Peeps and they are spot on with the flavors.

It looks as if there is a Rice Krispies Treat inside the Peep. There is not. It's a Peep. I was disappointed that there was not a Rice Krispies Treat inside, Very misleading.

This product is nothing like it's advertised. Very misleading. Don't put Rice Krispies Treats on the box if it's not Rice Krispies Treats. It's disgusting. I won't be putting it into my grandkid's Easter basket. Such a waste of money.

Yeah...so total impulse buy. I like Rice Krispies treats, it was Easter time, and I'm a sucker for trying new things. Should have passed on this.

Only as I was sitting at my desk, staring at the package as I'm pulling out a Peep, does it dawn on me that I literally bought....marshmallow flavored marshmallows, essentially. Worst part of all is they didn't taste like anything but sugar. I don't know - it didn't even have the normal flavor of a Peep. It was like a meh sugar experience and I would have much rather kept my two bucks.

Just a Bag of Marshmallows Would Have Been Better

I thought I was getting Peeps flavored Crispies treats; sadly it was the opposite and unless you're a 4-7 year old, these are disgusting…One bite and they went straight into the bin. Sorry, Peeps lovers! These were a hard pass
