It's not solid wood (but we knew that), but it looks pretty convincing. It doesn't have that shiny fake-veneer look to it. People are surprised when I tell them where I ordered it from. It arrived on time as promised. It looks exactly as pictured; my TV is 32" and it looks exactly like that. The pieces fit together well; my husband put it together and he said there were no problems with the assembly. It seems sturdy, I would feel comfortable putting a bigger TV on it. Although it was packaged extremely well, there were a couple nicks (presumably from shipping) on the shelving. These were easily covered up with a dark oak wood touch up pen. Nice value for the price. I ordered it for my den, which is on the small side; it sits low and does not overtake the room. It would look nice in a small living room. Very satisfied with my purchase.

packing and shipping was horrible. due to the lockdown from the virus I just had my son try and put this together.  I have several broken pieces.  I want a refund.  someone needs to get ahold of me asap..
