Can be straightforward, but may require two people and clearer labeling.

Defiantly a 2 person assemble. Overall description didn't do its justice, it's a really nice entrance way show stopper.

They should label parts so it will be faster to assemble. I still get it done in less than 2 hours by myself and the hall tree looks exactly showed in the picture.

Nice but heavy, careful if you handle yourself.

Second time buying these. Person buying my house wanted to include them in the sale. They are great!!

Its a great size, came packages really well nothing was broken and no missing parts.  I made one mistake and I did have to take apart part of it. Where you screw in the hooks. Make sure you use the two pieces that have the holes in it. Silly mistake. I absolutely love it. It doesnt fit my ankle boots but fits my daughters. We put are summer shoes in it.  The storage is amazing, a lot of space.

Recommend it!

Overall this is a great piece.  It takes a few hours to assemble but the instructions are mostly clear.  It looks nice and fits lots of items.  My criticism is that some of the pieces of wood are thin so during assembly the nails started to come through the front side.  Be mindful for this as you build.  Otherwise we are very happy with it!

Great mud room addition

I love the color! The only issues I have, is the shoe compartments DO NOT fit a pair of shoes. It is definitely one shoe per compartment. The back is just particle board which makes is a little flimsy. 
Otherwise it looks beautiful!

Pieces came chipped, shows the low quality of the boards. There is also space between places where they did not tighten completely together. Makes it look a bit cheap. I expected a little more for the price. The back could have been a higher quality as well.  Assembly was fair. Be careful when assembling the back panel; since the boards a cheap, we have one nail pushing through the side.

Ok, but would buy something else if doing it again

Absolutely nothing has a label! Not even the hardware!!! How in the heck do you expect me to build this thing??? This is a $300 mistake. Hopefully I'm just an accident and other people haven't made this purchase and encountered this issue. I would return it but its so heavy and I have no way of taking it to a ups location. Highly disappointed with this product. This would only allow me to go down to 2 stars but I would give it none because a semi simple project just became a 46 piece puzzle.

NOTHING IS LABELED

loved the color and idea, when I got my box almost every piece has a chip or missing piece off somewhere and a crack mark along the whole top layer of almost every longer piece. I really hoped to have a 300 dollar furniture item not look like it's years old or worn and we just opened the box to start and assemble.

The box that arrived looked like it has already been opened and was tapped up on top. We opened it and saw that the bag of screws had a hole like someone had tried to use it and worst of all one of the long pieces with slats for the shoe rack was broken in half. Looks like they shipped us someone's return. Now I have to take it back to Walmart to process my return.
