I mix this with Purina Allergen Food for my cats. I am allergic to cats and I can't do without my babies. I give them dry food in the evenings and wet food during the day. I compared the ingredients of this to other cat foods and decided that this is best for my cat's health.

My cat likes this and it's good for her. She is 13 years old and started refusing to eat.  She went from a fat 12 plus pounds to 8 pounds. I started feeding her this and she seems healthy, she plays like a kitten.

I used this cat food for years and it is really great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have 2 adult cats. I inherited my mom's 6yo cat when mom suddenly passed and my resident cat is going to be 4yo in July. Mom's cat was a wet food only type of girl before moving in. I was concerned that she probably had build up on her teeth and her breath used to smell awful. She jumped right into grazing Purina Pro Plan Chicken and rice throughout the day with small wet food meals a couple times a day. Her bad breath went away and she has gained a couple pounds. They both love this food and I've noticed one cat specifically picking the chunks of chicken out to eat on occasion lol.

Great food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our two cats (Lynx Pointe Snowshoe's) were turning their noses up at just about every dry food after a week or so, they also were. Shedding so much it was becoming worrisome, after trying Purina Pro-Plan Complete Essentials for just one week we noticed an enormous difference in their shedding it had almost came to a complete halt. Their coat is also smooth as silk and no more hairballs! Their energy levels are at a premium and they have never enjoyed a dry cat food as much as the so this. I must admit I was skeptical but am now a true believer!

Way beyond expectations

The adults prefer this food to their adult Proplan, while the kitten prefers the adult Proplan. They free feed, so controlling their feeding would be complicated. I'm sure your experience will vary based on your cat.

WHERE is this SHREDDED blend? My cats have been eating this for a very long time and do not like the new packaging that is missing the 'shredded pieces'. I read your response here to a review that is has not been discontinued, HOWEVER  I have searched everywhere and it is impossible to find.  Where can. purchase this again?

Impossible to find in stores and online

My cats used to devour this food but now all of them are refusing to eat the new formula. They pick out the small shredded pieces and leave the majority of the food. The pieces are now larger than they used to be as well. Please consider going back to the old formula! We've been feeding this food with no issues until now.
