My dog started as a shelter dog. She joined our family 3 years ago and has become our little princess. Very fussy on what she eats now. She does eat this food while still asking/begging for table food - not table scraps. So, the fact that she eats this food is pretty amazing to us!

Great Food - Good Supplements - Dogs Love It!

This dog food was recommended by our vet and our dog is doing well on it.  I also find the odor pleasant when dipping the kibble out of the bag, which I can't say for other foods we have given our dog.  She is 14 and going strong.

I've been feeding Purina products to my pets for more than fifty years, and I truly feel that they are the best pet foods available both then and now. My Zoey, a terrier/dachshund mix, was adopted from a local shelter and has been with us since 2019. She's about ten years old now; we've been feeding this food since her adoption, and she loves it. She's very active and healthy; never had a sick day in her life, and our vet says that she's in excellent physical condition. Good nutrition plays a very important role in good health, and Purina gets all the credit here!

Adopted a new dog 2 months ago, who needed some "fattening up" after surgery for a GI blockage. I had him on your high protein diet for the first month, to quickly get some weight back on. Once we reached his goal weight, I switched to the chicken & rice essentials diet. He's excited for each meal time, his coat looks great & his stools are solid. Thanks!

All my dogs have been fed Purina pro plan because it is veterinary formulated and consistent (and they always like it)! Look into the Purina institute and all the good research they do for animals and you'll understand why I pick them over those “boutique” brands like Rachel ray or the very fatty foods (blue buffalo - look at those calories!).

Complete nutrition and my dog loves it!

My dogs are so picky. They won't even eat refrigerated non-kibble dog food. I've bought every brand of kibble from all price ranges %26 spent a small fortune on toppers trying to find something these 65lb fur-brats would consistently eat.  We were basically throwing away everything below the topper - even after setting it back out for bfast next day.  However, the past week, their bowls have been staying completely empty. We feed them a bit of dry kibble in the morning, %26 dinner is kibble w/ 3oz topper. They're actually eating it - even without the topper!! Finally!! (And they're not just picking out the real chicken bits; they're eating all of it!) About to purchase our 2nd bag. This dog food is a little expensive to be Purina, but they were wasting all the other high dollar brands as well. And it's not the usual Purina kibble, it has real chunks of dried chicken.

Finally, one my 65lb dogs will eat!!

My dog eats this food like any other. It certainly is not sprinkled with gold dust though. I could convince myself to pay $39  for an 18 pound bag of dog food , but, I certainly can't see paying $68 an 18 pound bag. Again, 18 pounds! I'll buy another brand. I feel Purina is taking advantage of the market/ economy. I gave two stars to get their attention and see if they are concerned. I'm sure there are a lot more people that feel as I do.
