This is very pricey food, however it's THE favorite of our rescue boxer Nemo!!! We liberated him from an abusive home where at 2 years old he was underweight at 42%23 %26 I could see all of his bones!!! Our vet said it couldn't be done but with this food plus the addition of eggs, chicken %26 rice in a supportive environment( not in a cage 23 hours a day) his weight was up to 60%23 within 2 months. Nemo's going to be 9 years old Feb 28,2026

I have tried many foods over the years with different pets, and they all developed various issues. My Veterinarian suggested ProPlan diets, and each pet always improved no matter the issue, so now I only feed Purina ProPlan diets!

Excellent quality dog food

2 dogs, 9yr old husky and 5yr old great pyrenees. They like the bowl clean. Great, shiny coats, very healthy pups. Best price I could find in my area.

Superior Food

100% Legitimate Testimony

Our golden retriever has always had a very sensitive stomach.  She would vomit at least weekly - usually in the house or on the lanai pavers.  Since using the Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Stomach dry food, she has NOT had one vomiting incident.  I waited to review this product after she had gone through the first 30 lb. bag.
Seems a little costly but won't switch based on the results.

Great for sensitive stomachs!

I was feeding Performance formula for a few years but recently noticed some scratching as well as vomiting small amounts of yellow bile in the middle of the night, yet otherwise my two spaniel siblings were still energetic and acted fine. I decided to switch to this formula and almost immediately their symptoms were gone as well as their coats improved. I plan to keep them on this!

How this formula helped my dogs

Love this food! I feed it to all my dogs. My Bully and Malti poo used to have skin issues so as long as I feed this I have no longer had issues. I recommended this to my daughter who now feeds it to her Frenchie who used to get ear infections and digestive issues. He is doing great now. So I can personally recommend this product to clients and their pets in my profession.

This dog food is great for skin and food allergies! Our dog used to be hairless and now has the best coat ever and doesn't get an upset stomach anymore either.

Better than prescription, dog food for allergies

Our puppy had difficulties getting rid of giardia - it took several tries over several months of GI problems.  Despite the eventual full recovery, he continued to have tummy troubles so he was recommended onto a prescription GI diet.  After some time, he was able to transition well to Pro Plan Adult Sensitive Skin & Stomach.  YAY!

So it was a good run with purina for the last year. Now with the new formula my dog will not eat it! Don't know how it's changed but she will not touch it. This coming from a dog who knew what time was food time and constantly begged for it! :( it's now light in color and flaky/ grainy.
